We practice forming natural sentences, slowly and at each student’s own pace. 2) Homework and assessments: Without homework or tests, it is very difficult to make progress in a language. I assign homework tailored to each student’s level and pace, and give a small vocabulary quiz at the end of each chapter. (During very busy periods, the amount of homework is adjusted, so don’t worry!) 3) Culture: Language is closely connected to culture. I teach singer-songwriter lessons in Utrecht. Ages 10 and up. You don't have to be able to do anything yet. You don't have to be able to play an instrument yourself. During the lessons we work on writing lyrics, vocal technique and performance. You can get acquainted with different instruments. There are different types of lessons possible: 1. The past twenty years have been revolutionary for music production. Nowadays you can record, produce and release your own music with your laptop and some simple peripherals. This is done with a music program called a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) in which you can edit sound. But as everyone has noticed who starts such a program: it's not easy!
