About Me

Hi there,

This is Dimos, saxophone Is my love and I can teach you a lot about it.

I am a saxophone player from Greece, where I studied ,first to get my saxophone diploma studying with prof. Thanos Fisekis at the city of Volos ,my home city and then in Thessaloniki at University of Macedonia where I got my bachelor's degree on music and saxophone,studying under prof. Athanasios Zervas. I finished my masters degree studying under Johan van der Linden in Utrecht.

I had the honor of meeting and taking master classes from prestigious saxophonists such as Claude Dalangle,Sarah Markham,Leo Sangiguit, Jean-Marie Londeix, John Sampen, Theodore Kerkezos and others.

My experience ranges from playing with orchestra,solo works to chamber music ensembles and saxophone quartets but also teaching saxophone in Nakas conservatory of Thessaloniki, International School of Utrecht and Private Lessons for already 10+ years!

Looking for a piano teacher? In Utrecht you will find the friendly Spanish professional pianist Mar. She lives in Utrecht and studies at the Rotterdam Codarts Conservatory of Music, and has already a master's degree from the Utrecht Conservatory (with pedagogical training as well)

Learn to enjoy music together while playing cello with me!

Let’s begin your musical journey! Perhaps this is the first time you are playing an instrument? Or you are picking it up having played it years ago. Perhaps you have a dream of where or what you would like to play...or want to improve specific skills to simply enjoy playing more.

My aim is to create a path with you (or your child), to discover and develop ways to achieve your own musical goals.

I offer 30-minute instrumental lessons – these are aimed at beginner students to build stamina, posture and basic playing techniques.
You can combine this with an additional 30 minutes of musicianship, this is for children to build a solid foundation of musical skills –including rhythm, note reading and pitch, composition, tempo and more. Group lessons are possible for beginner players, these can be a fun and motivating way of learning together for students, however these would be regularly reviewed to ensure learning needs of each student are met.

I would recommend 60-minute lessons for intermediate student/adult students – this is to work on more complex musical skills, exercises and pieces.

About me...
I have worked in instrument music education at schools, academies and privately for the last 12 years, whilst playing professionally as a freelance violin/viola player and conductor with orchestras, musicals and in community music settings in England. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, and base my approach on the needs of the student, using experience in different schools of music teaching - including traditional classical Suzuki and Kodaly principles to more modern day improvisation focussed educators such as Christian Howes and Bobby McFerrin.

Hi! I am a classically trained pianist and am graduating from the Utrecht Conservatory this year. My passion for the piano started at a young age: I started taking lessons when I was seven, after convincing my parents to enroll me.

From the age of thirteen, I started assisting my teacher and was already teaching younger students, from children as young as 3 to teenagers. As a result, I have built up extensive experience in teaching various ages and levels.
