I am Michela and I come from Rome. I am a professional and qualified language teacher for secondary schools. I have been teaching languages since 2011 to all levels and backgrounds. I funded my own company for Language services' in 2018 in London and in 2021 in Utrecht (Giardino Italiano).

I will be happy to help you either learning from scratch or improving your skills! I am very good at differentiating tasks, and I always work tailoring my lesson on students' level and needs in order to help students to improve. Over the years I have gained experience in teaching students with all types of abilities. I have also experience in working with students with learning difficulties such as dyslexia, AHDH, and autism.

I offer different types of courses (standard courses/ grammar through games/ conversation through topics/ conversation through games, music, films, cooking), using different tools and techniques, always trying to make my lessons fun, engaging, and well-structured. Since practice makes perfect, every lesson you will be given homework as independent learning is an extremely important part of the language learning process.

I am very passionate about learning languages and teaching them is just part of my inner-nature. I am a language learner like you, so I know all the struggles you might encounter in your learning journey. I have developed many techniques over the years to overcome difficulties so let me help you!
Moreover, I keep studying and researching psychology-pedagogy and teaching techniques in order to keep my skills up- to -date and to experiment with always new ways to help my students learning to the best of their abilities.

About Me

Hi, my name is Michela and I come from Rome. I am a qualified teacher and have been teaching Italian and other languages since 2011, to all levels and backgrounds.

When I learn a language, I like doing it by having fun and through interesting activities. That is what I want also to achieve when teaching my lessons and creating more interesting lessons became my mission. If you are looking for a grammar driven lesson, this is not the right place as I use a communicative and project based methodology.
My lessons are taught in Italian since the beginning to give you the chance to fully immerse yourself in the language and to learn faster. Don't panic, you just need to trust the method!

I am very passionate about linguistics, language learning, travel, arts, games, music, cinema and theatre, nature, archery among other things.

Hello, my name is Alessandra. I am Italian native speaker,with a really good level of Spanish (that I speak every day) and I specialized in Chinese, English and Spanish at the university. I have lived and worked in UK, China and now The Netherlands. In every state I gave foreign language classes to locals and my aim is to become professional language instructor. At the moment I am a translator of fantasy novels.

After having lived for years in Italy (Tuscany) and in London for study and work, we are now back in the Netherlands. I have a teaching degree from the University of London and I have more than 10 years of teaching language lessons; all ages and all levels. Whether you want to improve your English reading skills; vacation Italian wants to learn if you want to expand your vocabulary and listening skills; everything is possible. I always fully adapt to the wishes and level of my student. Some learn better with a book; others prefer to do a lot of conversation. Still others like to learn about the culture and customs of a country. With my background in opera singing, I have a broad knowledge of both the language and culture of Italy and I enjoy sharing this knowledge!

Hello!

My name's Valeria, I'm Italian and I hold an Arts, Culture and Media BA degree, which I've earned at the University of Groningen (Netherlands). Recently I've also completed the the Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) (TEFL Academy), thereby becoming officially qualified to professionally teach English both in an in-person and online format. My private English classes will not only cover grammar rules and vocabulary items, but they'll also be largely centred around engaging in lighthearted conversations about everyday topics.
