First, I always strive to understand the student's motivations and adapt my teaching to help them achieve their goals. Furthermore, in my course I emphasize three aspects that I consider important.

The first aspect is the student's technique and physical relationship with their instrument (we discuss posture, how to hold the sticks, rudiments, and coordination...). The objective: to obtain a calm and controlled sound, with relaxed movement.

The second aspect is language and repertoire. This involves introducing students to the basic repertoire, linked to the origins of the music that gave rise to contemporary music and the drums (jazz, funk, soul, etc.).
