Cello classes for all levels, all ages, classical/jazz/popTranslate this text using Google Translate.

ENG (FR below) Hi! I am Elsa, I am 24 and I come from France. I am currently doing a jazz master at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, after obtaining my classical bachelor at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. I have been playing cello for 19 years. Over the years I played in various settings: chamber music (small ensembles like trios, quartet), bands (new music), solo and orchestras such as the Nationaal Jeugdorkest and Jong Metropole (national youth jazz orchestra). I love to play classical music but also some jazz, funk or pop! I like to play with people, create music together, improvise... And I hope this is something I can also pass on to my students! Since 6 years I am teaching all kind of people: all ages, all level, in different languages, individual or in groups... So don't be afraid to have a try! I can teach in english and french, and if your level is not fluent we will always find a way to communicate! I teach in The Hague, Amsterdam or online and I can come to your place to teach! I am looking forward to meet you! . Bonjour!

Classical Guitar, Electric Guitar, and Music Theory lessons for all levels and ages.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Classical Guitar, Electric Guitar, and Music Theory lessons for all levels and ages.Translate this text using Google Translate.

I am Michele, a professional musician with more than 15 years of experience and with two Classical Guitar Master's degrees. I give guitar and music theory lessons for all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced players. I believe that following a path that best suits the characteristics, tastes, and goals of each student is the best and funniest way to learn an instrument. Each of my lessons is unique and adapted to the student's personality. At first, I usually aim at the acquisition of basic knowledge relating to the instrument. Then, you decide what to learn: from classical guitar to electric or acoustic guitar, from classical music to rock, pop, or folk! For instance, if you want to learn how to play classical music, we are going to work on how to read and interpret a score, acquire a good technique (arpeggios, scales, and control of polyphony) while always focusing on the meaning, the feeling, and the direction of the musical piece. At the same time, if you want to focus on other genres (such as rock, pop, etc...) we are going to work on improving your ear skills, sense of rhythm, and theory knowledge while learning the songs you like the most. In this way, you will be able to learn not only how to play guitar by yourself, but also how to play together with other people, be able to understand the music and play what you really feel and want to play. Of course, nothing stops us from working on different styles of playing at the same time! I am also available for the preparation of the entrance exams to the guitar courses (preparatory courses, Bachelor, Master) of the Conservatory.

Tutoring in language subjects, arithmetic & exact sciences: mathematics (A/B/C/D), physics and chemistryTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Tutoring in language subjects, arithmetic & exact sciences: mathematics (A/B/C/D), physics and chemistryTranslate this text using Google Translate.

About me In primary school, arithmetic was my favorite subject, and in grammar school, mathematics was my favorite subject, and these subjects came easily to me. I enjoyed helping classmates who struggled with the material. This interest eventually led me to the Bachelor's in Econometrics & Operations Research, a highly mathematical university program that I successfully completed. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Econometrics. Due to my strong foundation in mathematics, I have also developed a strong affinity for the exact sciences of physics and chemistry. In addition, languages have always interested me. I speak Dutch, English, and Spanish, and I studied French, German, and Latin in high school. I have several years of experience in education as a tutor, homework supervisor, exam trainer, and online educational coach at Mr. Chadd. I have guided students from primary school, VMBO, HAVO, and VWO, in both the lower and upper years, including exam training. Additionally, I have experience with VAVO students and students from MBO, HBO, and WO. I also work as a teacher of Dutch as a Second Language (NT2), helping English and Spanish speakers learn Dutch. Additionally, I have worked as an AI trainer on improving AI models for complex mathematical problems. After my studies, I want to work full-time in education. I enjoy transferring knowledge and helping students achieve their goals, whether that involves improving grades, preparing for an exam, catching up, or learning a new language. About the lessons Every student learns in a different way. That is why I always start by identifying exactly where the difficulties stem from. Next, I explain the material step by step, aligning with the school's teaching method and paying extra attention to the topics that are difficult. Arithmetic, mathematics, physics and chemistry For arithmetic and mathematics (A, B, C, and D), the emphasis is on understanding the theory and practicing with various types of problems. I help students build a strong foundation, do homework, prepare for tests, and train for exams. In physics and chemistry, I focus on understanding the underlying concepts, applying formulas, and solving problems in a structured manner. Thanks to my background in Econometrics, I can explain complex topics in a clear and logical way. Languages and NT2 I provide tutoring in Dutch, English, and Spanish. Additionally, I can help high school students with French, German, and Latin. For languages, we work on grammar, spelling, vocabulary, reading skills, writing skills, listening skills, speaking skills, and pronunciation, among other things. My specialization is Dutch as a second language (NT2). I tutor English and Spanish speakers who want to learn Dutch for study, work, or daily life. Additionally, I help Dutch speakers who want to improve their English or Spanish. If you send the course material in advance, I will carefully prepare each lesson. This way, we can get started immediately with the topics that are most important to you. With me, there are no stupid questions. Everyone gets stuck sometimes or lacks a bit of basic knowledge. I create a calm and pleasant atmosphere where you can ask questions without hesitation. Together, we work step by step towards more understanding, better results, and more self-confidence. Neurodivergent learners are also very welcome, for example, students with AD(H)D, autism, dyslexia, or dyscalculia. I adapt my explanation and pace to what works best for you.

Inspiring Music Lessons: Ableton Live / Composition / Production / GuitarTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Inspiring Music Lessons: Ableton Live / Composition / Production / GuitarTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Making your own music is a very personal practice that demands attention and care. It is comforting to learn the craft and to know what to focus on now and what to deal later in the process. This way you can let your creativity lead the way and take care of the technical details after on. With this course, you'll learn the KNOW-HOW of making your own music from start to finish. We will go through; inspiration, composing, arranging, production, mixing, mastering, and release. You will understand the conceptual frame and the technical craft behind them. In no time you will start applying them to your own workflow as well, no matter what genre you are interested in, electronic, pop, jazz, indie, experimental, classical, and so on. I try to make sure all my students leave the class with a new idea, a fascination, or a new question in their minds about whatever they want to do but most importantly with a smile. The music gathers people, and so is making it. That's why the lessons can flow into a conversation, a joke, a listening discussion, and a feedback session in which we become not only a teacher and a student but hopefully also friends. Subjects we can focus on: Music Theory, Composing, Arranging, Ableton Live, Sibelius, Notation, Electronic Music, Synthesizers, Guitar(acoustic/electric), Piano, Mixing & Mastering

ENGLISH: I have been teaching Turkish and Dutch to local and international adults and their children living in the Netherlands since 2020. My main motivation for teaching my mother language is to contribute to Turkish children’s bilingual achievement and help Dutch-Turkish people close the cultural gap in their families. My lessons are based on the needs of the individuals such as communication in daily life, reading business or project management documents and enjoying their time while exploring Turkish culture and cuisine.

Overall she is a great teacher. Since she is teaching me to play the violin, she has always been very enthusiastic. She makes you feel at ease and makes you accept that making mistakes is ok, even when you are a perfectionist. Besides, she is very flexible with the style of music you like and adjusts her teaching to your development. Even online classes (since the pandemic) go super well. I can highly recommend to take classes with her!

I can definitely recommend, Michele is patient and pays attention to what you want to learn as a student. We started right away learning a fantastic song I thought would be too hard, but he broke it down in simple terms and I couldn't be happier, it makes learning very enjoyable :) 10/10

We had Elsa in for a lesson as my son's usual cello teacher was not feeling well. Elsa was prompt in responding, punctual and most importantly, taught my son effectively. We are very happy with her and will not hesitate to call on her the next time we need her assistance again.
