Over the years I played in various settings: chamber music (small ensembles like trios, quartet), bands (new music), solo and orchestras such as the Nationaal Jeugdorkest and Jong Metropole (national youth jazz orchestra). I love to play classical music but also some jazz, funk or pop! I like to play with people, create music together, improvise... And I hope this is something I can also pass on to my students! Since 6 years I am teaching all kind of people: all ages, all level, in different languages, individual or in groups... So don't be afraid to have a try! I am Michele, a professional musician with more than 15 years of experience and with two Classical Guitar Master's degrees. I give guitar and music theory lessons for all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced players. I believe that following a path that best suits the characteristics, tastes, and goals of each student is the best and funniest way to learn an instrument. Each of my lessons is unique and adapted to the student's personality. At first, I usually aim at the acquisition of basic knowledge relating to the instrument. Then, you decide what to learn: from classical guitar to electric or acoustic guitar, from classical music to rock, pop, or folk! For instance, if you want to learn how to play classical music, we are going to work on how to read and interpret a score, acquire a good technique (arpeggios, scales, and control of polyphony) while always focusing on the meaning, the feeling, and the direction of the musical piece. At the same time, if you want to focus on other genres (such as rock, pop, etc...) we are going to work on improving your ear skills, sense of rhythm, and theory knowledge while learning the songs you like the most. In this way, you will be able to learn not only how to play guitar by yourself, but also how to play together with other people, be able to understand the music and play what you really feel and want to play. Of course, nothing stops us from working on different styles of playing at the same time! I am also available for the preparation of the entrance exams to the guitar courses (preparatory courses, Bachelor, Master) of the Conservatory.

Hello Recorder Lovers, I'm Jeongguk. I'm from South Korea and living in The Hague from 2011. I've been playing recorder for 20 years and I've got a bachelor's and master's degree on the recorder. (Royal Conservatory in the Hague 2011-2015, Korean National University of Arts 2005-2011). I'm giving both offline/online recorder classes to all ages and levels of recorder lovers. My name is Louis, I am a 23 years old and am a native English speaker. Before The Netherlands, I have lived in the UK for 16+ years; all of my school education has been in the English taught British school system. This has helped clients in particular, with children in a British school here. I have designed my classes with the aim of building the basic skills required in holding conversations, succeeding in an English speaking environment but also teaching students who have an advanced level but require extra help (often with the technical side, for example the rules surrounding tenses and other grammatical points). To learn how to play piano is never too late! I have 15 years of experience in teaching students from the age of 5 until 80. Amateurs and professional musicians, all levels. Diverse repertoire, from light pop to the classic. I graduated Tchaikovsky conservatory in Moscow and Royal conservatory in the Hague. I have 2 master degrees as a solo pianist, chamber soloist and piano teacher. I started to teach piano when I was 15 as a part of a school programme but my biggest experience I got here in the Netherlands. I have students with such a different background in music: amateurs, professionals, kids, adults. I am trying to find a personal approach to every student and make the process of learning more interesting and inspiring. I teach but I also learn a lot from my students. For example, I have a lot of students above 65 years old and they changed my vision and inspired me too. Now I see that it is never too late to start learning to play piano. For the first lesson you (student) don’t need to bring anything. But if you are not a beginner of course it would be nice to play something what you have learned before. The lessons are possible in Dutch, English and Russian depending on what is more convenient and comfortable for the student.
