My name is Renzo Navone, a guitar player from Uruguay, based in Rotterdam, and in my career, I have achieved several music experiences by approaching different musical genres such as Brazilian, Cuban, classical, jazz, and pop music.

During the lessons, we will dig into different technique approaches by taking care of sound, posture harmony, and ear training.

We will approach also songs by analyzing different aspects mentioned above, and the rhythmic aspect too.

Thanks to my study path, (jazz and contemporary music degree at Liceu, in Barcelona and the Bachelor in Latin music at Codarts, in Rotterdam) I will be able to prepare students who want to apply for auditions in musical institutes.

About Me

I like to take different approach depending on the students goals , some of you are more interested on theory, others just want to play and have fun and some others want to become a profesional musician and are attempting to the auditions for the bachelor in music.
For young childs I prefer to show music and guitar playing as an interactive game that can be played alone or with some other people

Education

I studied in Conservatoire of LIceu (Barcelona) where I got my diploma in jazz and modern music specialiced in guitar. Currently I am studying the 3rd year bachelor in Codarts University of the arts (Rotterdam), specialiced in latin jazz guitar.
During my time in Barcelona I had the chance to study with Steve Higgin, luthier from U.S based in Barcelona. with him I learned how to build guitars from the beggining, restore them and set them up. After 4 years studying with him I started building my own work shop where I can fix and restore guitars and bass

My name is David, I'm a trumpet player, composer, and conductor based in Rotterdam.
I started to study music when I was 8 years old and I get the Professional Music degree in the specialty of classical trumpet at the Conservatory of Noia (Galicia, Spain) and I've been playing Jazz since I was a teenager.

In my country, I have been a student with teachers such as Paco Charlín or Abe Rábade, whom I have considered my mentors for years, but I have also studied and attended numerous masterclasses and workshops with internationally renowned teachers such as Michael Phillip Mossman, Antonio Hart, Darren Barret, Michel Camilo, Logan Richardson, Orrin Evans ...etc.

With 18 years working and studying the trumpet, I have been fortunate to play with numerous artists and projects such as Phillip Dizack, Nelson Cascais, Kyle Poole, Dyna Stephens, Walter White, L.A.R. Legido, Jesús Santandreu, Pontejazz Big Band, CSM Big Band and also with different groups and orchestras of dance and Latin music.

As a teacher, I have experience teaching in different schools, teaching trumpet lessons, music theory, and choir and ensemble conduction, working with both young children and adults and the elderly, aged between 4 and 85.

My classes are individualized and personal, adapting to the needs and concerns of the student to help him evolve and meet his objectives.

Guitar is a very versatile instrument, used in many different genres, including classical music. For me, my journey with it started somewhere in my early childhood, primarily with listening to my mum's playing of folk songs. What amazed me is the power that music has to make people come together and communicate. So at 10, I formally started my individual relationship with the instrument, studying classical guitar, which has given me some of the greatest pleasures in this life, and I hope it will be my source of joy until my dying day. Currently, I am studying Makam music at the Global Music Department of Codarts, Rotterdam. Be it classical, Rebetiko, or any other genre, it is this warmth that I would like to convey to my students, and introduce them to a lifelong friend and companion, who is going to take them to the most interesting places.
