I am a multi-instrumentalist and composer who just finished a Master's degree in Jazz Saxophone at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I have experience playing in a variety of ensembles, ranging from classical orchestras to jazz big bands. With these lessons, you will learn not only the technique of the instrument, but also how to play any genre you like. You will also learn how to improvise within a style if you wish. The lessons are fully adaptable to each student. I also offer jazz theory and jazz composition lessons.

Whether you are picking up the clarinet for the first time, looking to improve your playing, or preparing for an audition or performance, the lessons will be tailored to your individual level and goals. We can work on sound production, breathing, embouchure, articulation, finger technique, intonation, musical phrasing, and repertoire. For more advanced students, lessons can also focus on orchestral excerpts, audition preparation, solo repertoire, and developing greater confidence and consistency in performance. I believe that good technique should help you play more naturally and expressively, rather than make playing feel complicated. I therefore pay close attention to finding efficient and comfortable solutions for each student, while encouraging them to develop their own sound and musical ideas. Students of all levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced players. Lessons are adapted to each student’s needs, pace, and musical interests.

Kind and passionate, I adapt to all student profiles so that each technical and musical aspect can progress together. Psychological and physical well-being are two very important elements that we must work on together. I can make myself available for short periods to prepare for entrance exams to higher education institutions. Beginner students are welcome! Learning a musical instrument, whether professional or amateur, should remain a pleasure, which is why building self-confidence is an integral part of my lessons.
