Piano lessons and/ or music theory: from beginners to advanced levels
From 84 C$ /h
Whether you are a music enthusiast who would love to play your favourite songs on the piano, an experienced musician looking to take the next step into your expressiveness and confidence when playing, or a student who needs to learn or reinforce music theory, you are in the right place!
I'm Irene Martínez de las Muelas, a pianist and recent graduate of the Master of Music program at Codarts University of the Arts, and I would love for you to be my next student. I have previous experience teaching piano at different levels to people of many ages (children, teenagers, and adults), because I'm passionate about sharing my love of music and I believe that, with the right approach, everyone can be capable of expressing themselves through music.
As a pianist, I have performed solo concerts of classical music, and also being part of ensembles, from chamber music to contemporary and other genres. I adapt my lessons and approach to the student's particular needs, so:
- If you are already a pianist with some experience who wants to develop certain technical aspects and delve much deeper into musical expression...
- If you are a beginner, or someone who wants to pick up playing again after a long time...
- If you are interested in learning music theory in a much more efficient and fun way, relating everything you learn to your favourite music...
- Either you want to prepare an entrance exam to pursue music in a professional way; or you want to keep it as a hobby...
...my lessons are definitely for you!
I speak fluent Spanish, English, and French; so if you want to have lessons in one of these languages, don't hesitate to contact me! :)

About Me
I am a passionate musician who seeks to transmit her love for the piano to her students, and help them develop the necessary skills to express themselves and find a great source of satisfaction in music as well.
Having completed my Master of Music degree at Codarts, and having experience in performing solo concerts, chamber music, ensembles, and duos, I believe I can help students develop good habits and techniques to enhance their playing without losing the focus on their love for music.
