I am Ipek and I offer baroque violin, violin and viola lessons. I can give lessons for both beginners and advanced students. I live in Dresden and you can come to me to have lessons or I can come to your home. And of course online lessons are also possible :) Including my bachelor studies, I have always been very interested in how to teach people violin and music, in a combination of creativity and individuality. For me, playing and communicating with an instrument is the beginning of a learning process. What I can offer you is that you can realize your passion with violin and have a good level and understanding of musical vocabulary.

As a musician, I am doing an academy at the Dresdner Philharmonie Rostock and am currently doing my second master's degree at the Dresden University of Music. I have played in numerous festivals and concert halls such as (Schleswig Holstein Music Festival, Elbphilarmonie Hamburg, Amsterdam Conzertgebauw, Berlin Konzerthaus etc.)

-30 min music theory (in English, Turkish)

About Me

Hi there! I am a violinist who is doing an Academy in the Dresden Philharmonic at the moment. I am originally from Turkey but I am living in Europe since I am 18 years old:) Other than music, I am interested in arts, environmental issues and cooking. I have myself, wondered quite a bit to find the right teacher in order to become a better of myself as a player and after 5 years of education and now being more settled in my second masters, I have decided to teach violin with the knowledge that I have. Since I also suffered with finding the right teacher process, it is for more crucial to give good lessons to students and make them feel happy and comfortable during the learning process. With my all focus, I would like to try to find your own way of playing and understanding violin and how to inspire you at the same time.

Education

As a musician I am doing Academy with the Dresdner Philharmonie and at the same pursuing my Masters Degree at Musikhochschule Carl Maria von Weber Dresden. I have finished my Bachelors at Koninklijk Konservatorium Den Haag with Excellence and Holland Scholarship and studied my masters Solo Degree at the Musikhochschule Freiburg. I have played in many festivals and concert halls such as (Schleswig Holstein Musik Festival, Elbphilarmonie Hamburg, Amsterdam Concertgebauw, Berlin Konzerthaus etc.)

Experience / Qualifications

I offer: - 1h violin lessons (in German, English or Turkish). Depending on your interest and your desires that you would like to achieve on violin, I structure my lessons with specific technical topics and musical intentions / phrases. For me the most important thing is that you have fun playing the violin and that you are in a learning process with the instrument.
