---------------------> Do you want to be able to: -> to IMPROVISE on jazz standards or those pieces that you love ? -> ACCOMPANY someone who sings or an instrumentalist while being satisfied with your game? To enrich your chords and rhythmic games mode? -> to COMPOSER your own pieces, to finally be able to put music on your texts or to arrange them so that they are highlighted? -> to PLAY simply the piano, to release your creativity by being limited only to the notes of the scores but to be able to interpret freely the tunes that you hum, that you hear? -> to UNDERSTAND how does the harmony, the relation between the chords and the notes of the melody work? Understand why one can replace one agreement with another? If you answered YES to at least 1 of these questions and are motivated to progress, then this course is for you ... My pedagogy? Goal: Learning musical language leading to autonomy in order to express themselves through different spheres of music namely improvisation, arrangement, composition, solo or group piano playing. Organization of the course: The course consists of several parts working on the desires and needs of the student. In a good mood, we discuss, explain, define the important musical concepts that we will discuss and then use, making sure that they are understood using examples. We do some exercises of applications together and I also send you those to do for the next class. It is necessary to have your own notebook. I provide you the necessary supports to train you, (audio documents, pdf, handouts). My pedagogy is based on the work of understanding the musical material and visualization. Since music involves many senses, it is important to develop auditory (sound), kinesthetic and logical awareness to work intelligently and maximize the curve of progress. This work will obviously be done according to your objectives and desires to reach. In SUMMARY, I teach the piano through: -> Improvisation -> harmony (learning chords and understanding them) -> rhythmic forms (independence and coordination of hands) -> the accompaniment -> the arrangement -> the composition -> instrumental technique -> the score reading -> the development of the ear If you are totally beginner, do not panic! We will do a program together and you will also learn how to read quickly. Promised, it will not be boring! ;) Whether you want to work on improvisation in depth, the different types of accompaniment or learn your favorite songs, I'm here to help!

The clarinet is a fascinating instrument. Its woody timbre, its tessitura close to the voice offers a wide range of musical directions. Whether you want to play classical, jazz, song or world music, we will progress together to connect the song and the instrument. To develop the breath, to consolidate its supports, to feel the rhythm and to shine the melodies, that is the objective! I adapt my method according to each student but here are the central points of my educational work: - Warm up: stretching and breathing - Sound work: beak, held notes, harmonics * - Technique: ranges, transpositions * - Repertoire: Piece being learned, reading *, improvisation. * confirmed students SINGING I attach particular importance to the link between song and instrument. Singing the songs and even the scales improves the musicality, the phrasing, the accuracy to the instrument. MEMORY As much as possible, I ask to memorize the pieces. Knowing how to sing a song before playing it is for me the best way to integrate it.

I am a student at EPFL, I did my year of CMS and I am in first year EPFL in Communication Systems. I passed my baccalaureate mathematical sciences with a mention Très Bien, a 19/20 in maths and a 20/20 in English . I like teaching classes to children and teenagers. My method of teaching English is to try to find a balance between learning the language in writing and orally, starting with the basics of the English language little by little to be sure student learns the language in a correct way. As far as mathematics is concerned, I try to find the gaps the student has in order to then help him to do his exercises and perfect his maths learning and finally make him love this very important subject.

I give drum lessons instead of Vallon 12, in my studio, equipped with 2 drums and recording equipment. I consider that learning can only be done while having fun, so I adapt almost all my lessons to the desires of my students, while keeping a course of action to follow, based on methods that have been developed. proven to be very effective over the years. I teach any style of music making sure the basics are solid. (Rock, Funk, Groove, Jazz, Samba, Latin, Metal, Fusion, ...) It is important for me that the student tells me about his desires, his tastes, and to know what the student has desire to learn. Of course, I can come up with tons of songs, but it is always more interesting for the student to bring me what they want to learn. My local is a recording studio. This means that I record and film sessions with students from time to time. It is very rewarding to see / hear yourself play, even very early in learning, and this service is an integral part of the lessons and is something quite rare in drum lessons in the region. I enjoy a familiar atmosphere, without pressure, to focus on the essentials in a relaxed way :-) About the teacher: Studied drums at the Sleack Kaven School in Lausanne. Drummer in many Swiss and international groups, specializing in extreme, technical and progressive metal, as well as electro-groove.
