About Me

I started studying music at the age of 3, first in classical training, then in current music. After a course in different French conservatories, and graduation, I came to Lausanne to study at Hemu.
I have had many bands and bands, ranging from jazz trio to contemporary and classical music orchers, to various rock and metal bands.
I am also very used to the scene because my projects led me to shoot in Europe (mainly in France, Switzerland and the Netherlands).

Hello!

I'm an award-winning Canadian classical pianist and experienced teacher offering piano lessons for all levels, beginner to advanced. I have performed with orchestra and has a soloist in various festivals across Canada, Germany, Austria, Spain and Switzerland, in addition to being a prize winner in numerous competitions, as well as the recipient of numerous grants and awards.

The 5 string banjo is an amazing instrument. It's driving trademark sound and it's African roots has contributed to many music traditions, including Country, Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz and world music.

In my class you'll first learn the basics, how to hold and pick and read tablatures. We'll then go through how to play a tune, accompany other instruments and finally, improvise. During the year I'll teach you basic music theory like rhythm, harmony and a bit of ear training to help you develop your understanding and relationship to the instrument.

We'll mainly play Bluegrass Scruggs style at first, then we'll dive into melodic style and sigle string, that will all be useful for playing other kinds of music, like Irish music, Pop, Jazz or Blues. Passionate about her instrument since the age of 7, she is a high-level artist with a remarkable career. A graduate of the Milan Conservatory in 2017 and holder of two master's degrees from the Lausanne University of Music, she has won numerous prizes at international competitions.

A passionate teacher, she is also involved in chamber music and enriching the harp repertoire through arrangements and original compositions. She has pursued advanced studies with renowned professors such as Gabriella Dall'Olio, Park Stickney, Luisa Prandina, Maria Rosa Calvo-Manzano, Gloria Martinez, Olga Shevelevich, Letizia Belmondo, Eleanor Turner, Fabrice Pierre, and Renaud Capuçon in chamber music.
