About Me

Life can be hectic and busy, making it difficult for us to find the quality time we need for our own personal needs, health and fitness goals. And then rushing to squeeze in a yoga or fitness class somewhere in our lives can end up feeling more stressful.

Hi, I'm Sylvie. I have been working in the health, yoga and wellness profession for over 30 years. I love working one-on-one and in small groups. It’s simply the best way to get the individualized attention for your specific needs and journey as you evolve in your practice and your life. Together, we create a a practice that is tailored to you, is sustainable, enjoyable and enriching on so many levels - for the body and soul.

Recognizing the need for quality in-home private yoga classes for busy professionals, I shifted my focus from large group classes to specializing in yoga and wellness programs for individuals, couples and small groups.

For many years I have worked with a variety of clients, such as doctors, CEO's, psychologists, lawyers, scientists, financial consultants, producers, musicians, couples and small groups with specific needs. Together we create an ideal program that meets your needs, goals and busy schedule.

Sylvie holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. She studied ayurveda at The Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico under Dr. Vasant Lad. She is an Ayurvedic counselor and a certified instructor of the Amrit Yoga Method – a hatha yoga based, kundalini yoga inspired practice created by Sri Yogi Amrit Desai, the founder of Kripalu and Amrit Yoga.
