I am a young Italian professional cellist with 23 years of study and professional experience. I have been living in Paris for four and a half years. I earned a Bachelor's degree from the Turin Conservatory, then specialized in Baroque music in Paris, completing advanced studies at the Paris Conservatory, a Master's degree from the Versailles Conservatory, and a second Master's degree in Classical and Romantic music from the Saintes Conservatory (Abbaye aux Dames). I work with several renowned European early music ensembles such as Le Concert Spirituel, Accademia Bizantina, Les Ombres, and La Chimera. I was a semi-finalist in the prestigious MA Competition 2021 in Bruges. About Me

I started studying cello at the age of 3 at the Suzuki Academy in Turin. After obtaining my diploma, I continued my studies at the Conservatoire G Verdi, where I graduated in 2017.
I then moved to Paris, where I specialized in baroque music, playing with several renowned ensembles.

Since my childhood, I have always pursued modern music projects in parallel. I played electric guitar in a high school group, with which we recorded a record. A few years later, I started an adventure in a metalcore group where I was a frontman and singer, with whom we made several tours in Europe, in the Eastern countries, in Russia and in England.
Today, my attention is focused on a project of solo cello and electronic music, which has already existed for a few years. Soon, the second album of this project will be released.
Finally, I have a project of French songs with a trio, called Melquiades, with which we have just finished recording the first disc in the studio, which will probably be released before Christmas 2020.

In all of this, I am very good at organizing the work schedules for these different projects, which is why I have decided for some time to devote part of my time to teaching. Currently, I have a dozen private students of all ages and levels, and I teach occasionally in music schools in Paris (where I live) and in Turin, when I am there to find my family.

Malaysian cellist, in France for 12 years, I graduated from DEM at the Paris Regional Conservatory and from the Performance Diploma at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris, I am currently studying in the concert cycle at the Paris Regional Conservatory. This is why I know the French and Asian working method well and I love the exchanges between Asian music and European music, and it is with pride that I offer you my cello lessons.

Before going even further, I would like to share with you my cello learning journey.

I was born in a small town in the south of Malaysia, where there weren't many music teachers, although I knew I wanted to play cello very early, I only had the chance to 'finally started the cello when I was 15, and then when I came to France I realized that I was a lot behind my classmates...

This is why I wanted to find a very effective way to learn the instrument, I was lucky to have superb teachers who helped me progress and since then I have passed the competition for '' entered the CRR in Paris (being much older than my classmates), I graduated from the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris and even better I did a lot of concerts, I participated in master's class and I even passed competitions to play as an academic / intern in orchestras.

All this to tell you that there is no age to start, all that matters is motivation and a good learning method. I was certainly not the genius child but I knew how to adapt to have real results.

Everything I learned, you can learn too, I have always loved sharing my passion for music and with years of teaching experience, I have helped my students as children, adult beginners or more advanced to have real progress and results...

My teaching plan is firstly, to understand your objective, whatever it is to be able to play a specific piece or just to have fun with the instrument etc... then to establish a work plan which suits you well, and then help you step by step until you reach your goal. And I truly believe that anyone can succeed with a well-established plan.

I try to vary between the Suzuki method and the classical studies of Feuillard etc, I also arrange the pop music or film music according to your desires. For beginners, I try to help you establish a very solid basic technique so that you can progress quickly but with a lot of rigor. For the advanced amateurs, I try to work more in the musicality and to play works in different styles.

I teach in French, English or Mandarin.

Electronic music, perhaps with its interdisciplinary nature, is a vast field to get into, a world of creativity and art, science and technology, and philosophy and thoughts. The course of electroacoustic composition (in other words computer-assisted composition) follows the interdisciplinary fundamentals of the topic.
