Hello, I am currently studying at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Boulogne-Billancourt. I offer violin, viola and music theory lessons for students of all ages, and all levels (beginners or not). I can follow an already existing method, give "support" courses to a student already in a school or even follow my own method, which I developed during these 4 years of teaching. The lessons can take place at my home, at the student's home or even remotely (Skype or other). I obviously adapt to each student profile, these requests and desires. I offer private cello lessons, at your home or mine! I really like teaching, I have had cello students (music theory and tutoring as well) for 6 years and my contact with them is always very good. I am passionate about teaching, about how different personalities work and the issues specific to them and I am therefore always looking for new ways to teach them this beautiful instrument. I obtained my DEM (diploma of musical studies) in June 2024, which attests to my technical and musical level; this is why I am able to help students get started as well as help others who are already learning, up to the 3rd cycle of the conservatory for example. My name is Daniela, and I am a cross-over violist from Costa Rica. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music (Viola). I am currently continuing my journey at Codarts with a Master's degree in Latin Music. During my time in the Netherlands, I have been part of a wide range of musical projects across different genres — from classical orchestras and chamber music to pop, jazz, and world music collaborations. I've performed with ensembles such as the Jong Metropole and recorded with various pop, jazz, and fusion bands. I am also the bandleader of my own Latin project, La Reunión, and work as a freelance musician with diverse musical groups. Before moving to the Netherlands, I studied Music Education at the University of Costa Rica and worked for several years as a private teacher. I have experience teaching violin and viola to both children and adults. As a teacher, I am kind and patient. I believe in the value of consistent, focused work and in helping students grow step by step. I aim to make the learning process feel easy and fun!
