Coming from a family of musicians Lancelot began cello at the age of six. He began his musical training at the municipal conservatory of Ferney Voltaire and continued his training at the Geneva Conservatory with Francesco Bartoletti in the pre-professional stream.

In 2015 he obtained the Arditi prize which rewards him for the best certificate of the year. Shortly after, he joined François Guye's class at the Haute École de Musique de Genève.

Passionate about chamber music, he has played for many years in different formations, and worked with James Alexander and Gábor Takács-Nagy.

Since the beginning of his studies he has been able to work with renowned cellists such as Ophelie Gaillard, Frans Helmerson and Patrick Demenga. The Animato Quartet, of which he is a member, also received the advice of the Talich Quartet.

At the same time, he performed in many orchestras such as the Orchester à Corde du pays de Gex as 1st cello, the Orchester de Chambre de Versoix, the Orchester du Conservatoire de Genève (Cmgo) and various other orchestras. located in France and Switzerland. My musical apprenticeship began when I was 6 years old at the Ferney-Voltaire Regional Conservatory, for almost 10 years. I then entered the Conservatory of Music of Geneva, then I joined the High School of Music of Geneva after having followed a pre-professional course.

As a violinist: I am currently a student at the Geneva University of Music, after having followed the pre-professional course at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève. During my career, I won several prizes such as the Vatelot Rampal competition in Paris and the Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland soloist, and string quartet (alongside Julie Berthollet in particular). I also attended the Indianapolis University Academy summer internship.

I'm an award-winning Canadian classical pianist and experienced teacher offering piano lessons for all levels, beginner to advanced. I have performed with orchestra and has a soloist in various festivals across Canada, Germany, Austria, Spain and Switzerland, in addition to being a prize winner in numerous competitions, as well as the recipient of numerous grants and awards.
