Philosophy and Theology at Pre-U and A level (taught in English)
From 49.96 C$ /h
This class is aimed at students who are studying Philosophy and Theology at Pre-u (Cambridge) or A level, however, if prospective students would like to learn this subject at a more simplified level I am able to do that also. While this class is aimed at preparing the student for their final examinations, my aim is to also imbue love and interest in some of the most interesting questions asked by mankind such as; what is the nature of reality? Is morality subjective or objective? and do we really have free will? During this online class, students will also develop their argumentative/essay writing skills while also enhancing their general ability to think critically. If you are already well accustomed to this course, I can help you develop your understanding of the topic further, offering services such as how to plan a good essay as well as suggestions for further reading.

About Me
My favourite part of teaching is when I'm able to have an open and intellectual discussion with my students. I see discussion as the ultimate way of developing one's understanding of any humanities subject, especially Philosophy, as this gives the student the opportunity to express their own opinion. In doing so and defending it, this allows them to gain a wider understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of their argument and to also consider other perspectives which they may not have considered before. This is all in the spirit of coming closer to a better understanding of the truth which for me is the fundamental purpose of philosophy.
