The Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union is perhaps one of the most groundbreaking events in modern history. It is a story and a topic that requires constant analysis and discussion.

This lesson will be the first of many that discusses the Soviet Union as a whole, effectively in a nutshell. It will give an overview of the main features of the Soviet Union. It will discuss its divergence from the west and will situate the events occuring in the USSR in a global context.

I am a second-year student at Kings College London. I study war studies and history and my teaching interests are closely aligned to these fields. I have a particular interest in Russian history and studies as I am fluent in the language. My goal is to induce the same passion that I have for history into anyone that attends my classes.

Western Armenian is a language that has been put in the endangered language's list, and I personally believe that such a rich language should never die. I believe that I am taking a huge initiative to be one of the individuals who'll try to save this important language from disappearing.
