I was accepted into Oxford University twice (undergraduate), and Cambridge University once for a postgraduate degree in English. Having therefore successfully won places three times at Oxbridge, I can coach you and help you submit the best possible application for either an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any Humanities subject at these universities.

Everyone learns differently. That's why I teach the way you want. You decide what you want to learn and how, including when your lesson takes place and how long it lasts. I teach art history to anyone who wants to, regardless of age or level, online or at my home in Velp. You can learn about, among other things, the visual arts, music and literature from prehistory to the present. You can work towards an exam/test/training or just learn out of interest. Whether it concerns Michelangelo's David or the graffiti on the walls of Dubai, I'll be happy to tell you about it. Anything is possible. I am trained as a musician/writer and am a second-degree teacher. I have over 10 years of experience in education and have been teaching art history, music history, creative writing and other subjects at the senior level of a small secondary school for a number of years, where I am also a team member. I write teaching materials that are used at various schools in secondary and higher education. I have a lot of experience with innovative education and one-on-one teaching. Learning to draw or paint is not just about "reproducing well," but more importantly, about developing creativity. My classes emphasize developing the imagination while incorporating a rich and relevant knowledge of art history. Students thus improve both their technical drawing skills and their deeper understanding of art.

We will study the following themes: the myth of Europe, the history of ancient Greece, Greek and Roman culture, the Middle Ages and Byzantium, the Renaissance, the Ottoman occupation, Christianity and religions in Europe, the Europe of contradictions: Science or Magic, the Enlightenment, the Greek Revolution and the influences of the French Revolution, the Europe of Nations, the European Union. Lessons are structured around presentations, the use of texts, maps and other historical sources, questions that fuel discussions, exercises and analyses.

This is a class to get a 360 understanding of what is the European Union: origins, institutions, challenges, its place in the international system, its key legal texts. It is a perfect introduction to the topic for young people and adults.

This course is designed to be flexible. I adapt to your tastes and desires. I have a bachelor's degree in art history and am currently pursuing a master's degree. I offer this course to teach you a reliable cultural foundation. This can focus on a specific period, a movement, a medium, or be very general. Italian is the language of literature, of bel canto, and the language of one of the most beautiful countries in the world. In my course we will start with the linguistic and phonetic basics to then advance to more complex writings. You will practice speaking and correct pronunciation, to then arrive at written exercises, which you will also have to do at home to better assimilate the contents.
