About Me

Hi my name is Rebecca. I was born in South Africa and grew up in Germany. Since 2014, after giving up my job as a Branch Manager. I have been travelling the world full time and part-time. Now, I am doing it with my son Neo (6). He was born in Germany but is half Thai. For three years, in Thailand, we lived in a jungle called Tonsai. After that we went back to Germany for a few years. Visited then the Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, Spain, France and Belgium. We are worldschoolers and learn through our surroundings while travelling the world. Currently, we are back in Thailand but this time on an island called Koh Phangan after living in Turkey for 5 months. I help families to learn a new way of educating their children while travelling and working. I am also a Social Media Manager. During my travels, I have also worked as a kindergarten teacher in Thailand did babysitting and tried out different kinds of jobs.

Come, let's have fun together learning a new language, my name is Rebecca, and I have a 6-year-old son who speaks German and English. I believe children learn faster in a playful way; that's why my classes are aimed at children that love to play and learn simultaneously.

We are worldschoolers, I teach children to learn through their surroundings with particular focus on the use of their senses, hearing, seeing, touching, feeling, and tasting. When we use our senses, it makes it easier for us to remember things.

Before a lesson I may ask you to organize some things for the children to help them experience the things they learn. This way, it is easier for them to remember the words. My lessons are no longer than 30 minutes each session, because children cannot sit still for too long in front of a computer. Adults and beginners that are older can book 60 min.

I speak accent free German and English.
