No previous chess experience is required.

About Me

Hi! I'm a chess player and tutor who enjoys helping complete beginners discover and understand chess.

I've been playing chess competitively and have a FIDE rating, with FIDE ID 5551951. I also have around a year of experience teaching chess to students of different ages and experience levels, including people who were starting completely from scratch.

As a teacher, I focus on making chess simple, practical, and enjoyable. I don't expect students to already know chess terminology or strategies. We start with the fundamentals and gradually build confidence through explanations, examples, puzzles, and actual games.

I especially enjoy teaching beginners because it's rewarding to see a student go from not knowing how the pieces move to being able to play and understand their own games.

I adapt my lessons to each student's age, level, and learning pace. Whether you're a child discovering chess for the first time, a teenager looking for a new skill, or an adult who has always wanted to learn chess, my goal is to make every lesson useful and enjoyable.
