I started initial training of Tabla at the age of 3 under the guidance of my father (blessed to be the 3rd generation with a musical background). Afterwards took guidance of great maestros like Lt. Ustad Shamim Ahmed Khan ji (Nephew of Ustad Faiyaz Khan - Delhi Tradition), Dr. Nirmal Kumar (Disciple of Pt. Sanju Sahai Ji - Banaras Tradition) etc.
I am a GRADED ARTIST at "AKASHWANI" (ALL INDIA RADIO).
Was associated with the greatest organization of Indian Classical Music- "GANDHARVA MAHAVIDYALAYA'', till 8 years (Done "ALANKAR" over there - 8 yr degree) and completed Bachelors from HINDU COLLEGE and Masters from RAMJAS COLLEGE with top grades (UNIVERSITY OF DELHI).
Pursuing Ph.D (Doctorate) in Music from DEPARTMENT OF MUSIC (UNIVERSITY OF DELHI).
