I teach people how to sing and/or how to improve their techniques. I go through some Music theory concepts to help you pave you own way and build your own style. This class can teach you how to sing in many styles but it's best fit for Arabic singing.

About Me

I am a professional singer and a piano player. My story with music started since the age of 7 and I'm still practicing and enjoying it till this day. I have earned my diploma in General music Arabic music theory in 2019. I believe that music is best experienced when exploring the various styles and cultures and by broadening your horizons!

Education

I have studied for 9 years to get my Diploma in General music and Arabic music theory at the Regional Institute of Music in Hammam lif
And I am currently learning to play the Oud and the Flute.

I have worked in a couple of bands in the last 5 years. I have also played with the regional band of Ben Arous and was awarded the best singer Award. I am now part of two Choirs ( Tunisia 88 Alumni Choir / Honors Choir ).

I propose to give you lessons at all levels of vocalization and Oud / or arab musical training.
I am available every day and come to your home at your convenience.
Depending on the level and age of the students, the duration of my lessons vary between 30 minutes, 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes.

-The main thing is to have a music note book .
- Regarding the theory, it is not necessary to know music theory.
- Being motivated to learn is one of the keys to success.

I am an opera singer I started since 2014 to study lyrical singing I had my master's degree in lyrical singing and now I am a university professor at the higher institute of music of tunis Essentially I teach lyrical singing ( opera) we do vocal warm-ups to widen and open the voice and learn how to breathe correctly

This class is perfect for your children who want to learn the basics of Western singing and work on the voice. I start my class with breathing techniques and vocalization which is essential as a process to determine the timbre of the voice, control the regularity, the quality of the sound emission and thus warm up the voice. Then, depending on your child's preference, I will either suggest a song and he chooses to work on it or not, or he chooses a song he would like to work on and I teach him all the techniques to get there.

The lesson is about:

Learning the basic formulas of Arabic songs called “Maqamat”.
(A Maqam is a sequence of musical notes according to specific intervals and fixed rules for classifying the musical melody.)

Applying the Maqam by practicing Arabic songs.

Learning the Arabic musical accent, patterns, and melodic-rhythmic structures together with singing.

Learning the sequence of Arabic classical improvisation called “Mawwal”.
