About Me

With a degree in Musical Sciences and over a decade of diverse musical experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to my teaching. My journey in music began with the cello, which I played for 10 years, honing my skills and deepening my appreciation for classical music. This foundation allowed me to participate in a variety of ensembles, from symphonic orchestras to the vibrant and intricate rhythms of Indonesian gamelan.

Currently, I am a Modern Music singer, blending my classical training with contemporary styles to create a unique and engaging musical perspective. My varied background enables me to connect with students of all interests , providing a rich and comprehensive learning experience.

My musical journey is rich and varied, reflecting a deep commitment to both performance and education. I have honed my vocal skills through dedicated singing classes with esteemed vocal coaches. My practical experience is further enriched by my role as a volunteer singer with the Christian International School of Prague Choir since 2024 and several other choirs.

I have also led and directed the theatre group “Expressões e Impressões,” managed by Odivelas’ City Hall in 2023, showcasing my leadership and organizational skills. My diverse performance background includes being a member of the Indonesian Gamelan group “Gangswara,” managed by the Indonesian Embassy in Lisbon , and providing entertainment through singing at Aché Atalaia Bar.

Additionally, I have extensive experience in various dance forms, including Oriental, Bollywood, High Heels, Girlie, and K-Pop , as well as classical and contemporary dance. This diverse skill set enhances my ability to teach and connect with students from different musical backgrounds, fostering a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.

My classes are different depending on your level and age.

With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs.

With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing.

For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing.

I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!

I wasn’t born with a gift.
At five years old, I picked up an accordion that was almost bigger than me. I didn’t know it then, but that single moment would shape the rest of my life.

Since that day, I’ve dedicated over two decades to mastering this beautiful, misunderstood instrument. My name is Dominic, and I'll be providing you with everything you need to reach your musical goals, whichever those may be.

These lessons consist of music theory, in which we'll go over the essentials (and more) for smooth coasting in the music world. Whatever your main focus might be instrumentally, or if you just want to know more about how music works, these lessons are for you!

I'm currently a piano and music theory teacher at AMT, which is an institution near my hometown. I've got a full 8 year music course (mostly focused on classical piano), which I successfully completed in 2025. I've also got a year of music teaching experience on my shoulders, as well as plenty of experience helping younglings and less experienced musicians with any difficulties they may have had over the years.
