I own a Master in Popular Music Performance and Production from Berklee College of Music and a BMus Hons in Popular Music from ICMP. I has the luck to have great teachers who taught me a lot about popular music.

Veronica is a singer of Italian origin who has experimented with various musical genres such as rock, funk, blues, jazz and Mediterranean music.

He began his musical studies in Italy at Nuova Audio Music Media. In 2012 she moved to London where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Popular Music Performance and a Diploma in Music Teaching. In 2016 he earned a Master's Degree in Contemporary Performance and Production at Berklee College of Music.

Teaching singing is a very important part of your development as a professional, it is a way to have fun learning and connect with people through music.

He currently lives in Madrid, developing his own project and working in musical theater with the company On Beat.

Their singing classes are aimed at all people, all ages and levels. All popular styles are looked at: pop, soul, rock, jazz, blues, r&B, etc.

Normally a singing class develops in the following way: 15/20 minutes of warm-up exercises in which technical concepts are also looked at. Afterwards, a topic is chosen in each class to work on, it can be chosen by the student or the teacher. The song helps us to continue working on some technical aspects, style, improvisation, body expression and interpretation.

Each class is different and unique because we work on different concepts and there is always something new to learn!

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education.
My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals.

In that case the lessons will include contents of piano technique, score reading, applied harmony on the keyboard, composition, improvisation, musical arrangement, music production, recording techniques, jazz and pop music analysis and performance. Both programs can be combined depending on the focus and the profile of the student, or in case the student would like to go deeper in one of the previously mentioned subjects there is the opportunity to take an independent course of specialization on the desired topic. At the end of the semester every student will perform at the winter and summer concerts held every year and will have the possibility of making a recording session with the material worked during the term. With this, the student will not only be able to see his progress and work, but also will give him a direct experience of performing and working on a live or studio recording session, which is a fundamental part of the developing process of every musician.

The theory of everything tends to be really scary and music theory can be too. I am very keen to make music theory easy for everyone. For some people there is only one way to tackle the unmentionable but I believe there are many different approaches and one of them will click with you. It is simply finding out what is best for each person. Once we find the key we can unlock the problems that have puzzled you for ages.

Music theory needs to be more than a requirement, it needs to be the way to really appreciate the music you are playing. Certain aspects can also lead to additional practical skills such as improvisation which can be very useful as well as very enjoyable.

I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard.

My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instill a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student.

Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you.

A bit about me:

Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'. The video shown below is from my stint playing and directing 'After Midnight', a show set to the music of the Duke Ellington Big Band.
