From 55.53 C$ /h
Regular instrumental lessons/master classes/courses in piano, keyboard, and vocals.
I teach beginner and intermediate piano in a range of styles, including: Classical, Rock, Pop and Jazz. I do not pressure students to do grades, but if they wish too, in the classical/jazz style I will use the ABRSM grades, and modern style keyboard I use the Trinity Rock & Pop grades.
In regard to vocals, I am a classically trained singer with a Grade 8 ABRSM distinction and a Grade 8 in Musical Theatre. As well as teaching classical style, I also have a lot of experience teaching musical theatre and popular style vocals too.
Furthermore, I am a graduate with a BA First Class Honours in Music and currently studying a Masters in Composition and Sonic Art. I also offer courses in music theory, composition, and using certain musical software such as: notation software (Sibelius, Musescore, ect.), DAW systems (Logic, Ableton Live, Reaper), and I can provide lessons in the basics of creating interactive technologies using the visual programming software Max msp (in combination with Ableton Live).

About Me
Hi, my name is Alice. I have a lot of experience teaching Rock Keyboard, and also a lot of history singing and playing Classical piano in my own personal background. I'm eager to teach as music as it is my greatest passion, and I believe it should be accessible for all. My biggest priority is to adapt to each individual pupil and to teach them in a way they are keen to learn.
I'm very well rounded and able to teach using a variety of different mediums, such as traditionally following sheet music, by ear, or also by visual performance. I think it is important to also introduce a whole world of genre's and artists for my pupils to listen to, and an understanding of where certain aspects of music originate from.
In regard to piano I have been teaching the keyboard at a music school since September 2016, focusing mainly on Rock and Pop and encouraging the kids to perform and play in front of others. Since then, I have been teaching private instrumemtal lessons both face-to-face and online up until present.
I am also able to teach more traditionally in the Classical style, with a focus on the ABRSM grades, theory, and scales. I can also teach the basics of jazz and blues, and can teach basic improvisation and how to play using jazz standards.
My voice is my main instrument, and I have a grade 8 Distinction in Classical singing. I have taught Vocals at a few summer schools in the past, but I have mainly taught private lessons as a vocal coach since 2018. I am confident teaching classically up to about grade 6 standard, and my lessons would mainly involve teaching correct techniques in which to use your voice, which I would highlight and explain as we worked through various songs to suit the individual pupil. I would be very happy to teach other genre's too, such as Pop and Musical Theatre, as I have a grade 8 in Musical Theatre (vocals) too.
In terms of Music Theory, I am able to coach students through their grade 5 theory exams, or to teach any beginner's theory if this is something that you feel you may need to help you with your instrument.
I am also currently studying as Masters on Composition and Sonic Art. I am also happy to provide courses in the basics of using DAW systems, such and Logic, Ableton Live, and Reaper to compose and edit music. I can also provide lesosns on the basics of using Max MSP (the visual processing software) to create interactive technologies and communicate with Ableton Live as a controller.
