Singing in all it's discipline's is one of the most powerful forms of self expression. whether you are beginning on your Journey into singing and music, or you are further along the road and would like some extra guidance, support or knowledge, these are all things I can help you with.

Each persons sessions will be tailored to the student, going on your ability and what you would like as an outcome of your lessons. some subjects we will go Through are topics such as: warm ups to protect the voice, Voice Technique, Performance - developing your own personal style of singing and as a performer through learning songs of your choice. Additionally to these topics, we can do subjects based around music theory, Learning to read music and Music History. the main thing of course, is to have fun learning and performing!

Alternatively, If you are already Studying Music and/or Singing and want help with revision or Practice, I am Happy to accommodate for this also.

I have my Grade 8 in Singing, as well as having been trained in Music at degree level in multiple genres of vocal performance and additionally with 25 years of experience in performing arts. I am more than happy to accommodate multiple Genres, and again, all learning is at the students pace.

I am available to teach from Saturday 29th March 2025.

About Me

Hello, I am from the Beautiful county of Northumberland in the United Kingdom, I have Been a part of the Performing Arts since I was four years old, starting with dance, then into Music and then onto Theatre. I studied Music at University and received my degree. performing arts is my world with singing and music being the centre point.

I have performed in different parts of England, and have a colourful history and experience of singing as well as the other disciplines in the performing arts, with over two and a half decades of experience on stage. I additionally have experience in teaching singing, as well as other aspects of Music and Music History.

I wish to support and help learners gain the skills and knowledge that will help them through their journey into the world of Music.

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education.
My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals.
As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborated with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs.
