I am a very experienced singer and musician, who trained in Acting at the prestigious Arts Ed, London.

I am a very personable and engaging tutor whose main aim is to focus my lessons around the unique needs and interests of each individual.

I have extensive experience working with students of all ages, particularly with children. I have tutored piano and singing regularly both privately, and occasionally in various educational institutions (e.g. Perseid School, Merton, for children with severe learning disabilities).

I have extensive experience in both

Music:

I participated in all aspects of music throughout my time at KCS Wimbledon including singing in the Chamber Choir, playing in the school orchestras and singing in several smaller groups and bands.
At University of Bristol I was a Vice-Chancellor Music scholar for 3 years and again participated in all aspects of music, including singing in the Chamber Choir and also playing in the University Symphony Orchestra. Aside to this, I have played in orchestras for productions put on by the University Opera Society and for post-graduate composition concerts and recordings.

And Acting:

I also took part in all the school plays, in both the Junior and Senior schools including acting several main roles in plays such as A Midsummer’s Night Dream, The Producers, South Pacific, Sweeney Todd, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat and How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. I was also part of a professional radio drama, Charlie’s Choice, produced by Lamplighter Theatre in 2009/10. I also worked extensively with students with severe learning disabilities from Perseid School.
At university I was cast in my first year as the lead role, Sweeney Todd, in the Bristol University Opera Society production of Sweeney Todd and I also performed in Bernstein’s Candide and the university production of Mack & Mabel. I was also cast in a verbatim piece called 'Cherry' which was taken up to the Edinburgh Fringe 2017 and was very well received gaining 4 or 5 star reviews across the board and also meriting a review from the national newspaper, The Scotsman.

I completed my undergraduate degree in History at University of Bristol attaining a 2:1, achieving a 1st in my dissertation on the impact of rock 'n' roll on British society.

I am now studying on the Acting MA at Arts Ed and look forward to starting my career as a professional actor.

➤ A follower of the "message beneath the message", as Roland Barthes would say, the semiologist is above all a detective of language and helps you in this sense: he sees meaning, deciphers and carefully analyzes the signs that surround him to interpret their meaning, reports on the effects of meaning, the connotations and the implicit present in the communication. He starts from the surface signs visible to all to bring out the latent meanings. In these classes, you'll learn in a practical, dynamic way, perfectly tailored to your musical tastes. You choose the songs, artists, or styles you love, and we'll work together so you can learn to play and accompany them on the guitar.

You'll learn chords, chord changes, rhythms, strumming patterns, and different accompaniment techniques, always applied to real songs. The goal isn't simply to memorize songs, but to gradually understand how they work so you can learn new songs on your own.

The classes are adapted to all levels. If you're starting from scratch, we'll go step by step so you can begin playing your first songs from the beginning. If you already have some guitar experience, we'll work on improving your rhythm, technique, and accompaniment skills.

We can work on pop, rock, rumba, flamenco, singer-songwriter songs, and many other styles. From artists like Estopa, Melendi, Pablo Alborán, Manuel Carrasco, or Fito y Fitipaldis, to any group or singer that's part of your favorite music.

If you also like to sing, we can also work on how to accompany you on the guitar.
