Learning how to sing should be FUN as well as educational, and I am very passionate to provide such a lesson. I offer visualisations and tools to get in touch with your body in order to develop a deeper understanding of your instrument and how to use it to its full advantage.

There is a certain vulnerability when it comes to singing, and I want to help ease any stresses or worries you have, and to teach you how to feel secure in your voice so that you can sing without any hesitation and sing freely! I teach from beginners to advanced level.

About Me

At a young age I was singing in state choirs, and by the end of my high school career I had joined the South Australian Girls Choir, who won a spot in the Olympic Choir Championships.

I have performed solos in musicals and choirs, such as in the Adelaide Festival Theatre and in Patrick Lim’s Musical Theatre shows.

I have also performed many gigs playing my own written songs accompanied by a band. These have by far been my favourite performances.

My passion is to help my students to find their unique voice, style, and performing self.

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education.
My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals.
As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborated with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs.

My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar.

The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation.

For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...).

For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...).

Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. The objectives take into consideration the following points:

-Study of various playing techniques, chords, harmony, music of your choice, rhythm, with reading of tablature, teaching structured around the repertoire you like, technique of developing the musical ear
- Discovery of the neck, notes and basic positions of open chords
- Left / right hand coordination and rhythm exercises for the right hand
- Learning of different pieces of your choice
- Left hand control exercises, speed and precision
- Learning arpeggios
- Work around muscle memory
- Learning improvisation, musical play with others
- Ear training: use your ears to find chords, melodies, sounds and techniques used

Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style.
Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.
