Derry-born and bred in Croydon, London on the 10th of September 1990. From the tender age of 6 years old it was apparent that he was born to be on stage as he often performed for his mother's friends and family for pocket money.

He began to take his singing seriously in 2009, little did he know that his life would rapidly be thrown into the spotlight! After racking up over 6million views for his electric Xfactor audition, he was given an opportunity to join the band 'The Risk' formed in on the 9th series of The X Factor in 2011.

Upon leaving the show they hit their own record for the 'most booked act in 48 hours' for booking over 200 gigs and took this further by being 'the most booked act' on the history of X-Factor, they supported names such as Peter Andre, Jessie J & Boyz II Men and released 2 singles independently that reached the Top 40.

Since the bands split Derry is determined to continue on LA and establish himself as a solo singer/rapper/songwriter. His sound inspired by; the legendary Micheal Jackson, whose energy and ability to send every member of his audience into a frenzy captured Derry's imagination and Usher who's infectious humility on and off the stage has inspired and also reflected by Derry himself.
