Find Your Unique Voice: Singing Lessons for Technique, Confidence and Expression
From 75 C$ /h
Do you want to sing with more confidence, understand your voice and express yourself freely?
I believe that everyone can learn to sing. Every voice is unique, and my role is to help you explore its possibilities while developing solid, healthy vocal foundations.
I am a singer-songwriter, composer and vocal coach with a musical background in violin, piano and singing. I lead two original music projects: Sephora Kilbee, my solo project, and Crow Time, a French-Mexican band. I also write songs for other artists, collaborate with international musicians and producers, and produce music using Logic Pro.
From 2021 to 2024, I performed a leading role in the musical Novice et le Dragon, gaining extensive experience in live performance, vocal interpretation and stage presence. I also taught singing and piano for one year at a music school and now work with students of different ages, levels and musical backgrounds.
What we can work on:
+ Breath support
+ Pitch accuracy
+ Resonance
+ Vocal registers
+ Chest voice, head voice and mixed voice
+ Vocal flexibility
+ Dynamics
+ Power and belting
+ Interpretation, emotion and phrasing
+ Confidence and presence
+ Songwriting and artistic identity
How does a lesson work?
+ We discuss how your voice feels and what you would like to work on
+ We begin with gentle exercises to release tension and prepare the voice
+ We work on the different resonators, vocal placement and coordination between chest, mixed and head voice. The exercises are designed to improve vocal flexibility and help you move more freely
+ We apply the exercises to a song chosen according to your level, musical taste and goals
+ We explore the phrasing and dynamics so that the song feels yours
+ At the end of the lesson, I give you clear feedback and simple exercises to practise between sessions
Who are the lessons for?
The lessons are open to all levels. No previous experience is required, but commitment, regular practice and a serious approach are essential.
My teaching approach
I teach with precision, empathy and patience, adapting each lesson to the student. Desire, enjoyment and creativity always come first. My goal is to help you understand your voice, build reliable technique and expand your vocal possibilities without forcing it into a fixed model.
Technique should always serve creativity. It is there to support your expression, giving you more choices, confidence and freedom.

About Me
My name is Sephora, and I’m originally from France, a country with such a rich artistic and cultural history. Today, I travel between France, the United States and Latin America for different music projects.
I originally trained in visual arts and photography and worked professionally in the field for seven years. Little by little, music took up more space in my life and eventually became my profession.
What I love most about music is how it brings very different people together. It helps us connect and see the world in new ways.
I love writing my own songs, and I also support emerging artists as they develop their musical identity. I’m naturally curious and enjoy conversations about art and philosophy, especially over a very good meal. I take food almost as seriously as music!

Education
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Photography from Gobelins Paris and a two-year higher education diploma in Graphic Design from Strasbourg. This visual arts background continues to shape my approach to storytelling, artistic direction and interpretation.
I also received extensive musical training at a music school, where I studied violin for twelve years alongside music theory and choir. I later developed my practice in piano, singing, songwriting and music production.
