I have a very good contact with children. I am demanding but gentle and very patient. I believe that one learns by listening, I am present to allow this listening to be at the center of the course and thus accompany the student on the path of music.

For beginners: songs, games, improvisation, creation. The links with song and rhythm are very important to have a healthy foundation. The musical notions are approached gradually by experience then by recognition. Reading and writing are brought about by creation and musical composition.

For the more experienced, polyphony and difficult passages can be approached with different tools, by awareness of harmony and melodic modes and polyrhythm. Sometimes it is enough to be aware of simplicity to overcome difficult passages.

I also offer improvisation, harmony,

I started studying music at quite young, but never found my passion in it until my late teenage years. Now music is such an integral part of my life and well being, and I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experiences to support others on their musical journeys.

Music has always been a huge part of my life and I would be thrilled to pass on my knowledge. I studied music at university and have Grade 8 in both piano and vocals, but I have also performed in many different venues across the UK. I have helped previous students with stage-fright and anxiety with performing as well as aiding them learn their favourite songs on piano - and singing along at the same time.
