About Me

As an educated classical opera soprano I had the possibility to work with all kinds of instrumentalists, singers, composers, conductors even actors, and many people out of the music industry and generally stage performances. On the other side as a modern pop /R&B singer I grew up listening to Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey as a child, then Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Lauryn Hill, and many others. I developed a great area of singing possibilities with the base of classical singing which gave me an opportunity to really be stable in singing and to have complete voice control. There is a great competition in the world between singers like who can higher( the most common) who can louther etc. but that’s not my ideology. For me the most important thing is that the one express his own voice with all its flaws and all and then to work further to be able to embrace them and make something out of them, to realize it’s beautiful sides of voice and make them greater. To be able to find the passing place for their voice. A cozy, comfortable place for the voice. This is my aim and to get there there’s work to do with a lot of fun.

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education.
My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals.
