I Have over 20 years experience playing music with multiple bands and as a session musician playing numerous genres recording multiple albums.

I Tailor my lessons to suit your needs and wants as a student, guiding you to reach whatever level of playing you desire. I love teaching all levels of music and pride myself on my ability to make my lessons fun, engaging, informative and educational helping you learn any style you wish but also teaching how to create music and play with other musicians. I promise that by the end of a term of lessons you will have learned many new skills and built a new found appreciation for your instrument and music in general. You will learn music theory but more importantly, it’s practical application on your instrument. From learning nursery rhymes, pop songs, rock, funk all the way to jazz standards, classical pieces and so much more! You will also learn how to create these yourself. Become a rockstar, jazz player, classic player or just learn a few songs for fun, I’m the man for the job :)

I currently have 60 students a week and have the highest retention rate of students out of all the teachers in the school I work for 8 years in a row.

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar.

The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation.

For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...).

For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...).

Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. The objectives take into consideration the following points:

At my studio my students will not only learn how to play the piano, but they will receive a complete musical education in order to achieve their musical dreams.
