Fun and engaging clarinet lessons with an internationally experienced clarinetist!
Students can work towards exams (AMEB, ABRSM etc) or study just for fun. As well as the usual repertoire I can also help students work on their band/orchestra/ensemble music.
My teaching style is very much customised to the age and level of the student. For example, in the case of children who are beginners, I will be quite directive, giving them clear instructions and tasks of what they are to do and how to do it. For older students, I will encourage a more individualised and exploratory style. I don't want my students to be clones of myself - musicians should develop their own musicality and style of playing!

About Me
I am a professional clarinetist, having completed my undergraduate music degree at the University of Western Australia and my postgraduate degrees in Europe. My performing and teaching career to date spans 3 continents over 24 years, as an orchestra and chamber musician, ensemble coach and clarinet/music teacher.
I moved to Siem Reap, Cambodia in 2018 to share my expertise as a professional musician and music teacher and am currently teaching and developing a music program in an international school - as well as being Early Years Lead and responsible for school-wide Pastoral Care. I am also the owner and director of music school GraceMusic International which is based in the Netherlands.
