This class introduces participants to mindfulness based tools which can help to increase their resilience and well-being in a safe and fun environment. This is a practical training for cultivating mindfulness as a skill. In this experiential learning based class participants will explore various techniques that can be used to reduce stress and anxiety and build resilience. The training will present the working principles of mindfulness based practices and provide an opportunity for participants to try out a variety of techniques.
Each 1 hour session will be based on cultivating key components of mindfulness, such as: cultivating present moment awareness, compassion for self and others, non-judging, letting go, etc. Participants will be requested to commit to doing a few minutes of mindfulness practice at home between sessions. (If booking multiple sessions)

Experience / Qualifications
I have studied, traveled and taught in the Himalayas. I love introducing people to mindfulness meditation practices in a fun, and accessible way. I spent more than two decades working with the Tibetan Community and HH Dalai Lama to preserve and protect Tibetan culture. I am certified in CBCT (Compassion Based Cognitive Training). .B for kids, SEE Learning (Social Emotional Ethical Learning curriculum for children 4-18years). I have taught meditation in hospitals, offices and classrooms.
