I am a native speaker, born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. I studied 6 years at the prestigious Boston Latin School and then obtained my BA from Brown University (Providence, USA) and my MBA from McGill University (Montreal, Canada). I've worked in banking and finance over 30 years in the USA and Canada. I received my TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) Professional Certification from the University of California (Irvine) and I have over 7 years experience teaching English in California and in Mexico to students and business executives. About Me

Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, I received my BA from Brown University in the USA and my MBA from McGill University in Canada. My wife, who I met in Montreal, is from Mexico City, where we lived and where I first taught English for 4 years. After the birth of our daughter, we relocated to California, where we lived for 27 years. I worked for several banks in California and recently retired. We just relocated again, back to Mexico! We've decided to spend our retirement years in beautiful Playa del Carmen (just south of Cancun). I have a passion for teaching English (I obtained my TESL Certificate from UC Irvine and taught English over 3 years in California too), and I wish to continue working part time for at least the next few years.
