About Me
I have recently graduated from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with a First Class Honours in Acting specialising in Musical Theatre. Prior to this I studied at the prestigious Guildford School of Acting in Musical Theatre Foundation. Training at these world-renowned institutions has allowed me to enter this industry with a highly established skill-set in all major performance art disciplines.
I am a young professional currently working in the Musical Theatre Industry, giving me an insight into the professional world, I believe this is a huge advantage to my teaching. I recently performed in Chess at The Theatre Royal Drury Lane. I am extremely passionate about working with young people. Nurturing their talents and witnessing their progress brings me immense joy.
Since the age of 15 I have taught pupils privately from my home in Singing. I have noticed since I began teaching, for many the passion and love for singing carried them forward to wanting a further professional career in the arts. However for others, it is about creating a safe environment to express themselves, building their confidence and creating transferable skills that become invaluable in later life.
I am currently working toward my Vocal Health First Aider certificate, Estil Vocal Training and ABRSM Teaching Qualifications. I am able to teach to all ages up to the age of 18. I am particularly passionate about teaching young children as well as helping 16+ build their repertoire and prepare for potential vocational applications to Drama School Training programmes. Having recently trained at these schools, I am acutely aware of the audition processes and what they are looking for in potential students.
I work with many techniques and vocal processes. I create detailed lesson plans and structures for my lessons depending on the age group, and apply much of my learning from my several fantastic singing teachers over the years into my practise.
I am a dedicated and talented young professional who wants to pass on their world class training to the next generation of singers. I pride myself in being a warm and open individual, who fosters young talent and builds immensely supportive environments. I know I would have benefitted from a teacher who was in touch with not only the industry but whose passion for singing shone through in every lesson.
I look forward to our session!
