I am passionate about teaching and sharing my knowledge and experience with those passionate about filmmaking all over the world. I have accumulation of many years of teaching experience. I was a part-time lecturer at the School of Continuing and Professional Studies, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the guest Lecturer in Digital Media, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Also, I have done over one hundred sharing and film seminars at universities, high schools, and different communities. This work will be followed up with targeted areas for further practice, consolidation and/or additional challenge.

During my writing sessions, I will guide students in developing their practical writing skills, i.e. grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, and organisation of points/plot. Whilst encouraging creativity throughout, I will ensure there are multiple opportunities for students to express themselves through various writing genres. We will also work on editing and reviewing with feedback sessions built in to help consolidate the techniques introduced.

I strongly believe that reading is the key to unlocking a whole world of knowledge and imagination. In my reading sessions, I will focus on developing essential skills such as phonics, fluency, comprehension, and vocab. Through a variety of activities, including reading aloud, guided reading, discussion and analysis, I will help students improve their reading abilities, expand their literary horizons, and hopefully, foster a lifelong love for books.
