Drawing comic and manga course for beginners (Adobe Illustrator)

Do you want to learn the basics of drawing? Or are you already past that level? Do you want to draw on paper (with pencils) or on a screen? Do you want to learn the basics of 2D animation? All for a very reasonable price? We can do it! Nice to meet you, I'm Daniel. I'm a (private) art teacher, I'm also a freelance artist and have been working as one for about 7 years. I'm looking for students in Utrecht, I have a teaching space available in my apartment (I can share my address when you contact me), but am also able to travel to your desired space within the city. I can also teach via webcam, but I do recommend my in-person classes, seeing as they're more immersive and educational. I unfortunately do not speak Dutch (yet), but am confident we can overcome any potential language barrier we come across. I have the most experience in teaching teenagers and preteens, so I think we would definitely be a good match if you're a parent or guardian looking for a teacher for your child. I have a bachelor's degree in digital arts, obtained at Saint Luc in 2016. During my studies I made live models, had courses in color, 2D animation, perspectives and character design. I mainly draw with a graphics tablet. During the lessons we will see how: - look at an image, understand how the artist composes it, then learn to reproduce a style. - use layers - use filters to give more life to images - learn different coloring methods, from grayscale coloring to colorization with filters - use different brushes - export illustrations in the correct formats - integrate photos into your drawings With this flexible method, I could teach you in a few lessons to discover or deepen your drawing style and improve your renderings.

Photoshop is used differently for painting and drawing than for photography retouching.
