Do you want to learn the basics of drawing? Or are you already past that level? Do you want to draw on paper (with pencils) or on a screen? Do you want to learn the basics of 2D animation? All for a very reasonable price? We can do it!

Nice to meet you, I'm Daniel. I'm a (private) art teacher, I'm also a freelance artist and have been working as one for about 7 years. I'm looking for students in Utrecht, I have a teaching space available in my apartment (I can share my address when you contact me), but am also able to travel to your desired space within the city.
I can also teach via webcam, but I do recommend my in-person classes, seeing as they're more immersive and educational.

I unfortunately do not speak Dutch (yet), but am confident we can overcome any potential language barrier we come across.

I have the most experience in teaching teenagers and preteens, so I think we would definitely be a good match if you're a parent or guardian looking for a teacher for your child.

Extra information

For these classes I can unfortunately not provide materials for you. Which means if you want to learn art on paper, all you need to bring is paper and pencils. As for digital art, it will be necessary to bring your own device and download your own desired program.

About Me

Hi there! I'm Daniel, I'm 23. I have lived in the United States, in Venezuela, Spain, and now also the Netherlands! I am very excited to live here and meet people, including some new students!
I'm a creative and open-minded person with passions for art, video games, music, cooking, cinematography, etc. and have been working as a (private) art teacher for 2 years and as a freelance artist for about 7 years.
I have unfortunately not yet been able to acquire professional qualifications for teaching, but my previous experience has told me I am definitely still qualified to teach different types of art to different types of people.

Art has always been an important part of human society since the beginning of time. Art has been used as a tool for cultural exchange, education, and expression.
I've finished an art college and it is a big part of my life. I am happy to share my skills and experience with others who have an interest in art. I have an experience in working with children, but I'm also happy to teach adults.

Hi! I'm Julia, a Fine Art student at HKU, and I love helping kids explore their creativity through art. I offer fun, personalised art classes for children aged 4-13, where they can experiment, express themselves, and develop their artistic skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.

I grew up in Asia and the UK, so I'm fluent in both Dutch and English-meaning I can also mix in some language tutoring if that's something you'd like!
I've worked with kids for years including two years as an art teacher at Hampstead School of Art in London and as a painting instructor at Timberlake Summer Camp in the US.
I truly believe that creativity is one of the most valuable things to nurture from a young age. My own love for art started in childhood art classes, and I’d to love to help spark that same excitement!
