I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen.

I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist.

I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns.

In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on.

Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 12 years of practice teaching people how to do it. Because there is no single way to communicate effectively.

Our way of communicating relies largely on understanding certain mechanisms of human psychology.

Human beings are naturally attentive to what directly concerns them. They are sensitive to their interests, needs, fears, curiosity, recognition, need for security, and desire to be understood and valued.

The idea is therefore not simply to say what you have to say, but to understand:
-How can you make your interlocutor want to listen to you?

I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London.

Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you!

Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs.

The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language.

(Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. I am a professional visual artist with more than 30 years of international experience in exhibitions, residencies, research and teaching. I offer individual mentoring for students, emerging artists and established practitioners who want to develop a stronger, more coherent and personal body of work.

Sessions can focus on portfolio development, selecting and editing work, developing concepts, identifying recurring interests, strengthening your artistic voice, researching references, writing about your work and preparing applications for art schools, BA/BFA and MFA programmes, residencies, grants, exhibitions and other professional opportunities.

We can also work together if you feel stuck, disconnected from your practice or unsure how to move from isolated works or ideas toward a meaningful body of work.

My approach combines close discussion of your work with contemporary art, art history, critical references and practical strategies. I do not impose a particular style or aesthetic. The aim is to help you understand what is already distinctive in your work and develop it with greater clarity, depth and confidence.

Mentoring is available in English or Portuguese and is adapted to your individual goals and stage of development.

Im a very easy going, fun, Mime & Movement specialist with over 40 yrs professional experience. If you want to learn illusionary Mime, physical theatre, physical comedy, clown or movement skills for stage tv & film, or just want to improve your body confidence, in any other field than you have come to the right place. I have a wealth of teaching experience and knowledge at the highest level, My screen credits include BBC 1 sitcom Not Going Out, mime consultancy for James May’s Man Lab and a personal tutor role on Strictly Come Dancing, ‘Slow Motion Expert’ on Tim Burton’s film Sweeney Todd, collaborated with Andy Serkis for motion capture and movement vocabulary for Ultron and Iron Man, for The Avengers: Age of Ultron. I was the personal mime and movement assistant for Carey Mulligan in Suffragette. I have also written and published a book titled Mime The Gap: Techniques in Mime and Movement available on Amazon. Teaching history includes; The National Theatre, The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Royal College of Music, The Royal College of Art, The Royal Festival Hall, East 15 Acting School, Identity School of Acting, Mountview and Rose Bruford School of Acting. I also taught at Oxford and Cambridge Universities. I was Head of Movement for Vienna’s English Theatre Academy from 2018 to 2024. I design a two-year acting curriculum that primarily incorporates Lecoq and Physical Theatre techniques. It includes Clown, Mime, Bouffon, Neutral Mask, Commedia Dell’Arte, Greek Tragedy, Larval Mask, Character Mask, Personnage and other subjects such as Chekhov, Shakespeare, Silent Movie Acting, Film Noir Acting, Filmmaking and Acting for Camera.

Hi! I’m a 17-year-old student living in Spain speaking English and Dutch and I have been doing drama, singing and dancing for several years. I especially enjoy working with children and being creative.

I offer fun online drama classes for children, including activities such as improvisation, drama games, creating characters, expressing emotions and performing short scenes.
