Violin lessons for beginners and advanced students
From 83.31 C$ /h
Dear music lovers,
My name is Laura Ion and I am currently completing my master's degree in classical violin. I have been teaching with great joy for about 8 years and for the past six months I have been assisting in Professor Gaede's class.
Whether you are just starting out or even preparing for an entrance exam or competition, I can accompany and advise you on your musical journey.
My focus is on classical music, but of course we can explore other genres together.
All you need is a violin and some motivation and we can get started.
My capacity is limited, so contact me if you are interested!
best regards
Laura

About Me
Laura received her first violin lessons from Rodica Bucur in Romania at the age of six and successfully competed in her first music competition at the age of eight. During the next years she manages to win several prizes and awards in her country of birth.
Among other things, she received the first prize at the 23rd "Johann Sebastian Bach" competition in Cluj-Napoca and first prize at the "Viva la musica" competition in Zalau.
In 2011 she moved to Stuttgart and was taught by Ovidiu Abramovici. During her school years in Germany she wins several prizes at "Jugend musiziert" in the categories solo and chamber music and the scholarship of the "Helga Schmidt" Foundation.
She began her studies in autumn 2016 with Prof. Valerie Rubin at the Nuremberg University of Music. Shortly thereafter she received an academy position with the Hamburger Symphoniker. She then continued her bachelor's degree in the class of Prof. Reto Kuppel and later her master's degree with Prof. Daniel Gaede. For her efforts and commitment, she was supported during her studies by the scholarship for young string players and the Germany scholarship "Deutschlandstipendium". In 2020 she won a prize at the D-bü competition with the ensemble "Dialogue with a rose".
