I am a classical guitarist in Aachen and offer guitar lessons for people who would like to learn the guitar as a classical instrument! Asturias by Isaac Albeniz or the Prelude BVW 998 by Bach are good examples if you want to see what it sounds like. I also teach Latin and Spanish guitar music.
I have been teaching regularly since 2015 and I welcome students of all ages! Can also prepare for university entrance exams.

About Me

Hey, my name is Kolja, and I teach classical guitar in Cologne or online. I have been teaching for 10 years, possess considerable concert experience, and have also won a few competitions. I primarily play historical classical guitar (essentially the music of Beethoven's contemporaries on a slightly smaller—but prettier—guitar). You are also welcome to learn styles such as Pop, Rock, and some Jazz with me, though I can offer you the most guidance in the realm of classical guitar.

My name is Claudia, I'm 25 years old, and I'm a Spanish clarinetist. In March 2019, I completed my Master's in Clarinet Performance at the Sibelius Academy (Helsinki) and since September, I've been working with the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra (Finland) as co-principal clarinet. I currently perform with chamber music groups and various orchestras throughout Europe. I will be living in Cologne from January 2020.
I have experience with both children and adults.
I also really enjoy teaching my native language, Spanish, at beginner and intermediate levels, or conversation classes.

I began my studies at the Maastricht Conservatory in 2017 with Arnoud Gerritse and Ron van Stratum and successfully completed them in 2021. In addition to various band projects in the areas of rock, jazz, hip hop and other related music genres, I have also been giving lessons for about 5 years and since I have now moved to Cologne after completing my bachelor's degree, I would like to offer them here too.
The lessons are aimed at both beginners and advanced students and can also be used as preparation for the entrance exam.

Hello! I am a Spanish trumpet player residing in Cologne. I started playing the French horn when I was 6 years old and I studied my bachelor's degree in Madrid and my master's degree in Amsterdam. I offer lessons on modern and historical horn (baroque horn or natural horn).

No matter what your level, age or expectations, I am a flexible teacher with experience teaching people of all ages, levels, musical preferences and backgrounds. Lessons will be adapted to the student's progress, circumstances and requirements.

I balance musicality and fun by ensuring that each lesson challenges you with a new technical or theoretical concept, but always ends with something fun, like your favorite sheet music or song.

I design my lessons to be very student-oriented. Learning should be fun. Learning a musical instrument in particular only works if you enjoy what you are learning. This means that my students can choose their own songs. Of course, depending on the skills you have, we would look together to see which songs you would enjoy and then learn them together. I show my students how songs are played and give them constructive feedback to help them practice their favorite songs. I am currently a 22-year-old student studying special education at the University of Cologne. After two years of working at a special school and starting my studies, I am used to teaching people. I've been playing acoustic guitar since I was five years old and had guitar lessons for ten years. For a year now I have also been playing the electric guitar, which I was able to teach myself based on my previous knowledge. I enjoy teaching people something and I enjoy watching people learn. Combining teaching with my hobby of playing guitar is something I enjoy from the ground up. Therefore I would be happy to welcome you as one of my new students

My name is Rocco, I’m a guitarist and educator currently based in Cologne, and I’m offering private guitar lessons taught in English -or Italian (aber ich spreche auch ein bisschen Deutsch..!).

Here are some infos about myself:

I grew up in Italy, and graduated at the ArtEZ Conservatory in Arnhem (NL) in 2019.
During the last few years I attended the Berklee School of Music in Boston (2014), won the “Locomotive Jazz Festival Giovani” contest (2015), and played and recorded together with musicians such as Jerome Hol, René Creemers, Andre Groen, Pieter Douma and Alan Purves.
I have performed in several music festivals such as North Sea Jazz, Moers Festival, InJazz, MusicMeeting, Lowlands, Make-it Jazz, and more.

I am currently busy with several projects in the modern jazz scene in Germany and The Netherlands, while teaching in an international school in The Netherlands and having private students in Cologne.
I have been giving private lessons since six years now, both classic guitar (focusing on classical technique, reading and interpreting) and electric (mainly jazz/blues/rock vocabulary and improvisation).

Diogo is a curious musician, being part of different projects such as the Kaamos Duo (contemporary music for saxophone and soprano singer), chamber music with pianist Lambis Pavlou and Cantus Portugueses (traditional portuguese music with a modern twist). He also plays as a member of the contemporary music groups Korvat Auki and the Nyky Ensemble.
His main musical interests at the moment are the collaborations with living composers, chamber music with different ensembles, and interdisciplinary improvisation.
Diogo performances have taken place in many venues such as the Philharmonie of Essen, OrchesterZentrum Dortmund, Music Center Helsinki, Turku Castle, Liceu Auditorium Barcelona, Casa da Música do Porto, and many more.

Diogo's recognition includes prizes in some international competitions and the recent recognition at the 2022 Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy competition for Contemporary Ensembles and the recent participation at the prestigious Josip Nochta Competition in Zagreb, Croatia.

Diogo teaches all saxophones and ensemble playing in Portuguese, Spanish, English and German.
