Double bass teacher in Instrument Master at the Haute Ecole de Musique in Neuchâtel is looking for students to develop my teaching skills. I offer violin lessons for all levels and all ages, with an approach adapted to everyone, fun and motivating! These courses can be combined if necessary with learning music theory and musical reading. Born in Neuchâtel, I joined the Conservatory at the age of four to learn the violin. This hobby quickly became a passion, and sharing has always been a very important part of my journey. After completing a Bachelor of Arts at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève as well as a Master's degree in performance at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp (Belgium), I also obtained a Master's degree in Musical Pedagogy at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Neuchâtel in 2021. Since then, I have expanded my teaching experience through private lessons as well as long-term replacements in different structures in French-speaking Switzerland.

My aim in teaching is to enable the student to experience the beauty, richness and also the fun side of music, by helping to develop the technical skills needed to express oneself on the violin. I find it very important to take into account the personal goals and wishes of the student and to create an atmosphere of encouragement, creativity and mutual understanding. I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.
