Mathematics has applications in every field and is vital for the progress of most students in their academics careers. My objective is not only to teach math but to foster a love for the subject through having a more dynamic approach to the subjects at hand than those shown in school.
As such, I hope to not only help students progress in mathematics but also enjoy the process.

I also teach English since it is my native language and it is currently the most useful language to learn how to speak fluently in the business world or to do most thing on an international scale.

A passionate lover of the English culture and lifestyle, I have acquired official certification equivalent to Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) level, corresponding to level C2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (the highest level possible). After living in the United States for two years, I am currently pursuing a double major Anglais/Etudes Internationales at the Sorbonne University in Paris.

My experience in France has taught me that due to the specific nature of the English language and the limited time to practice it, there is an issue when it comes to conversational English. This is what my lessons will focus on - everyday conversational English, correction of accent, learning about stress and sentence dynamics which help you to sound more natural and understanding of phonology and the IPA transcription.

If you are shy when it comes to expressing yourself in front of others; if you find yourself lacking the "proper" expressions or tools to engage in everyday conversations; or if you just want to learn what does "hitting the books", "to lose your touch", or to "pitch in" mean - this class is probably for you. I am not a professional teacher, so I don't come with my own sets of exercises. I simply help the student by re-explaining the lesson in my own way, and by working through a few exercises (already done in class or in which he has difficulty, or new ones taken from his book).
Through my work with my children (23, 16, and 12 years old), I've realized that children are finding it increasingly difficult to concentrate on understanding a lesson, its logic, the tools it gradually provides (theorems, definitions, etc.), and how to use them. They are less and less able to take notes and reflect by writing down their ideas. In my opinion, excellence lies in this.

I'm not doing this just for the money. I'm truly passionate about the subject matter, about success, about teaching.
