My philosophy of cooking comes from watching my grandmother and my mother cook for us. Their food, which reflected their love and efforts, was flavoursome and most importantly was very simple. They emphasised on keeping it simple. Their combination of spices and methods were the very basics of Indian cooking.I learned my cooking skills, from working at restaurants, and also making dinners events. I made few dinners in different countries during my travel. I can remember my first dinner in New Zealand, where I made a dinner for 27 international people with a theme of “Banana leaf Dinner”. This was the first time, I realised that I derive joy from cooking to people and teaching my culture. And ever since, I kept learning, experimenting and try to make people smile with my food. I teach you basics of Indian Vegetarian dishes, with basics of spice methodology. My goal is to make it simple and easier to make a dish with Indian flavours. With these techniques, it empowers you to make your own experiments and your own recipes and make your own versions.Easy and flavoursome is my mantra.

Bonjour à tous! My name is Hovhannes (Johannes in German) and I am a 22-year-old student interning in Munich.

I graduated from a French high school with highest honors in 2018, yet 3 years ago (in 2015) I didn't speak any French at all. I then spent 3 years to complete my bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management, with a major in Economics. From 2021 onward, I study at a French business school (Top10) for my master’s degree in Corporate Finance. Currently living in Munich, I am here to do an internship at BMW finance department.

During my 6-month stay I would love to share my passion for foreign languages with you. I’m a self-taught polyglot as I speak 5 foreign languages: French, English, German, Russian and Armenian. I am native in French, English and Armenian. Indeed, I learnt French 7 years ago, so I am already familiar with most of the difficulties and challenges that you are going to face in a language leaning process. It would be my pleasure to share with you my experience and the precious tips that helped me to learn and improve my language skills efficiently.

I am here to help you to improve your speaking/writing/reading/listening skills. If you are looking forward to taking an exam, I’ll be happy to assist you as I have taken several language tests and exams. For example, I scored 81,5/100 in DELF B1 level test after only 8 months of learning French from scratch. At this point I am more than ready to help others to succeed in their exams. The idea is that I adapt to the needs of my students and teach in a contextual setting. Thus, it will be dynamic, captivating and easier to digest the information. Additionally, given my economics and finance background, I can teach you the technical vocabulary pertaining to these realms, by going through/studying some articles from famous French newspapers (eg. I have 2 years of experience in teaching English and Russian to pupils. I loved it. Hence, I decided to teach once again as I have some spare time at my disposal.

Courses can be held either in English, German or French (up to you to decide!). Most importantly, I prefer teaching face-to-face, because interacting with people in real life is the most effective method for language learning, according to my recent experience. Finally, small groups can be made in order to make this experience more fun and interactive, especially if you seek to enhance your conversational skills.
