Individual, couple or group service. These workshops aim to learn or simply practice steps, in a relaxed atmosphere and in a safe space. Relaxation is promoted with guided breathing exercises. Concept art: The cumbia-relajación workshop is a concept that pays homage to ancestral rhythms linked to the Earth and to heartbeats. One of these rhythms is the "tresillo", which is found in several popular dances in Abya Yala / Anahuac / Tawantinsuyo such as cumbia, bachata, bullengue, reggaeton*, etc. This rhythm is also present in millennial cultures around the world. The steps have similarities to movements in Tai-chi or Qi-gong, and have the potential to bring health benefits. It is an approach that has the potential to connect the moving body with the mind. Socially, a circle dance can help release any inhibitions. The workshop aims to encourage safe spaces where we can dance alone, or in groups. *important note. I promote songs whose lyrics are neither sexist nor misogynistic.

My typical course would go like this: First meeting: Familiarization with the instrument, the basics, what is a chord, tuning the guitar, etc. Then: At each lesson a little theory, always applied, and obviously practice, learn pieces and / or repeat those already learned, to measure the progress of the student. At the end of the course I would give technical advice, things to practice or listen to if the student wants to go further. I don't intend to make myself indispensable, on the contrary I want to give the basics so that you can manage and have fun as quickly as possible. One meeting per week is the best to have rapid progress, but I also adapt to the needs and capacities of the student, the main thing is that the guitar is always a pleasure, and never a chore! Guitarist with 9 years of experience, having already played in several groups and associations, often specialized in rhythm, but also sometimes soloist. I still participate in jam sessions from time to time. I myself learned with a particular teacher for the basics before continuing as an autodidact, but the best training remains to play in a real group. I can initiate you or consolidate your bases and make you practice by making you play with me. I always take my students' tastes into account because I think you have to like what you do to want to progress, so I don't force them to work on a style or songs that they don't like. I will teach you: - to read tablatures, - the basics of music theory such as scales, - the notion of rhythm and how to hold it, - different rhythmic and solo techniques, as well as playing with fingers or with a plectrum (= a pick) I have an electric guitar and an electro-acoustic one, whatever your style, I can teach you to play on electric or on acoustic. I also have a little knowledge on the material side of guitars and accessories, how to choose the right material is also important!

I am a bandoneon professor graduated from the "Manuel de Falla" Conservatory of Buenos Aires, Argentina, I worked as a teacher in several conservatories and music schools in Argentina and Uruguay, until I moved to Montreal in 2020. The lessons and materials are adapted to each student and their goals. Many people think that the bandoneon is a complicated instrument, however, I believe that it all depends on the approach... Engineer in nuclear engineering, Doctor of Physics, former Assistant Professor of Physics at the University, Examiner in preparatory class, and Professor of Mathematics at the Lycée, I offer support: Mathematics and in Physics-Chemistry in the French system up to the Scientific Terminal Mathematics in the Quebec system up to Cégep Science de la nature Mathematics for the preparatory year at HEC Montréal The purpose of the first meeting is to get to know the student and to determine his current level in mathematics and / or physics-chemistry, what are his strengths and weaknesses, and what are the objectives to be achieved. From the observation, I establish with the student and his parents an educational assessment (notions to be reviewed as a priority, working method, duration and frequency of lessons) aimed at best meeting the student's objectives. My methodology consists of first acquiring a good and deep understanding of the different aspects of the course and then sifting through the exercises and problems that allow the student to understand the usefulness and the extent of the effectiveness of each theorem or trick. . At the end of a session, I make sure that several objectives are met: -Have helped the student to master his course from start to finish, -Having helped the student to do but especially to understand the exercises while ensuring that the writing of the solution is correct and rigorous. -Present methods and tips that the student can use and reuse in multiple situations, it happens as follows: I solve with the student an exercise with the spirit of resolution done in class, then I present him a method of resolution alternative if I consider that this can be used in other exercises. This methodology has paid off from my experiences with a multitude of students of different levels, understanding the course and mastering the exercises makes the student average rise very quickly. Finally, the lessons can also take place remotely if that suits the student.

Graduate and experienced teacher, with a master's degree in Mathematics offers an individual pedagogy, a preparation of homework and exams. My goal is to advance the student without overburdening him. I give homework after each lesson in order to locate the gaps. Parental follow-up is important for this reason I periodically make follow-up and progress reports to allow the parent to be aware of the progress of their child.
