Being a concert cellist, the lessons that I am giving are very well adapted for young ambitious musicians or adults. The most important for me is to guide every students to his own goals, analyzing their needs and respecting their individuality. The lessons are however opened to everyone.

I teach trumpet lessons, musical training and jazz initiation. Currently a graduate student at the Geneva University of Music and holds a Master's degree in Music Pedagogy, the teacher is above all a passion for me. The Piano can from childhood bring a lot of benefit to the child. Music trains the memory, the taste for effort but also the artistic sense, the musicality and all this in a playful way. The objective would be to teach the child (or anyone wishing to start the piano) the basics of the piano, passing of course by some notions of music theory, and accompanying the student in learning his first melodies. All this in pleasure, and sharing. I have been playing the piano since I was 7 years old, and reached the upper secondary level at the AVCEM exam when I was 15 years old. I also like to sing a lot while accompanying myself on the piano. I would very much like to pass on this taste for music and give the basics of this beautiful instrument. I am currently at the University of Geneva, which is why courses during weekends and school holidays would be the most practical for me. I am happy to travel to my home with a public transport subscription, but if necessary the student can come and take lessons at my place.

Pianist student at the HEM in Geneva offers piano lessons as well as music theory! Basic elementary and intermediate level I also propose a part to speak about the musical appreciation of all the periods of the history of the music. For all ages! These will be lessons to work on the piano (beginners and intermediate) while we talk about music theory (harmony, music theory, analysis, etc.) and also a time to listen to recordings and talk about musical appreciation. Besides classical education, I also work with jazz pieces and pop music. It's an hour to have fun, learn and discover. Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. I successfully prepared the students with their Piano Exams like ABRSM, Trinity Grade, from grade 1-8, with merits and distinctions, and more advanced exams as well (Performance Diplomas). I teach for the Enjoyment of Music as well. I believe you can learn to play the piano at any age. My oldest student is over 75 years old and my youngest one has 3 years old. They made great progress, I am sure you could do the same. I've never met anyone who didn't have musical abilities! You can be a serious or a recreational player. The only requirement is the willingness to spend some time at the piano. I conduct my lessons using a combination of 4 cameras for optimum visibility, and a quality microphone which my students find very helpful. This allows them to see a very clear visual demonstration alongside my verbal explanation. I can confidently say that Online Lessons are the same as In-Person Lessons. CURRICULUM I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years. For beginners I like to use Alfred method books for basics concepts and for Classical and Jazz Piano technique I like to use ABRSM books (grade 1-8). If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs. Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible. I like to clearly explain and demonstrate piano technique. In this way, the students are able to apply the information on similar passages from all genres of music.
