Music is freedom and how and why you learn an instrument is something extremely subjective. Everyone searches and finds something different but in the end, they all share the same emotion: the joy of playing.

Both for children and adults there are many positive aspects associated with learning music: from experimenting that with a little guided exercise you get good results and satisfaction, to the realization that you can put something of yourself and your own world in music.

The meetings with me, in English or Italian, in Munich or in Milan or on-line, are structured on the basis of the requests of each student but always within a coherent path that really allows the achievement of concrete results.

I studied - and I'm keeping studying - guitar and Greek bouzouki with different masters (Giovanni Monteforte, Carmelo Tartamella, Dimitris Kotsiouros, Walter Donatiello), as a boy I briefly attended the CPM (Music Profession Center) and now I'm studying jazz guitar at the Music School Claudio Abbado in Milan, combining formal education with a self-taught nature. I have solid foundations and I know how to adapt the contents according to the different needs of each student.

Hi, I'm Alessandro, I live in Milan but I'm usually in Munich every two/three weeks for a few days.
I teach music (Chordophones like Ukulele, Bass, Guitar, Bouzouki).
My approach in teaching is focused on creativity: I enjoy teaching theory and rules but always as a tool to use to better express feelings.
Obviously, techniques are important but only as a means, not an end.

About the Lesson

I am a patient and dedicated piano teacher, working with students of all ages and levels. Every lesson is tailored to your goals, learning style, and musical interests.

I teach a wide range of styles, from classical to modern music (jazz, blues, pop, etc.).

I can teach you reading sheet music or playing by ear, depending on your preference and goals. I can also help you improvise and create your own music in the styles you enjoy.

I also have strong experience working with students with ADHD and dyslexia, adapting lessons to make learning clear, structured, and engaging.

I focus on healthy technique, musicality, and effective practice habits to build confidence and avoid tension or injury. I also help students develop a technique that prevents common issues such as tendonitis, which is very important for long-term playing. You’ll also receive support outside lessons, including answers, feedback, and video explanations when needed.

I prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity exams (Grades 1–8 and Diplomas), but I also teach students who simply want to enjoy playing. My students range from age 3 to 75+, and all make meaningful progress.

Online lessons are just as effective as in-person ones. I use a professional multi-camera setup and high-quality audio so you can clearly see technique and movement. Most of my lessons (95%+) are taught online.

Curriculum

There is no single method that fits everyone, so I adapt all materials to you.

For beginners, I often use Alfred’s Basic Piano Library. For classical and jazz development, I work with ABRSM and Trinity syllabi. I’m always happy to use other methods if you prefer.

Alongside structured materials, I include music you enjoy and focus on essential skills that apply across all styles—from classical to modern music.

- essential open chords and smooth chord changes

- how to practice effectively, even with limited time

My name is Andre. I'm a professional musician with more than 10 years living through music. Despite having Jazz as the main focus of my study and practice I've learned to love all genres and absorb each unique values and strengths. Having them integrated in the musical projects I've created or participated on. Projects which revolve around Jazz, Pop, Rock, Psychedelic, Electronic and Reggae.
Throughout my professional career I've worked with music schools and private students (+200). During this years I've encountered a plethora of different kinds of students, all levels ranging from kids to seniors and even a good quantity of autistic or down syndrome students, which always made me more and more interested in the art of teaching and helping people grow, by balancing challenge and empathy.

My lessons are characterized by a practical approach combined with a theoretical component, that always caters to the student's interests, stimulating their musical taste and creativity. For this, I like to go across the board with disciplines such as:
